So... I have a shitton of pokemon cards. Long story short, I have a nephew, collected em, became a drug addict, I somehow got them.

Now I have no desire to keep them. Are they worth anything?

These are circa 2005?- whatever.

Serious question, I don't really want to have to research this shit. Are they even worth looking into?

You'd need to look at them individually, like every other card game there are some that are high price and some that are trash.

He did keep them in a binder for collecting cards, so they aren't bad. But Jesus there are literally a couple hundo I need to go through. I've been putting off going through them for a few years, he also collected Magic cards and there are just so many it's hard to pick out the good from the trash. I was never into it, so I'm coming at it from a neophyte perspective. Kind of overwhelming.

Ok, very frankly. I put them back away. There are hundreds of them that appear japanese/chinese. I have no idea how to look them up. Going to head to my local comic book shop and see if there is someone there that knows this shit.

Might be best to ID the set they're from by Googling the symbol then just looking through the card artwork. There are several fansites that document them. The one you posted might be worth about tree fiddy (japanese wartortle from southern islands set)
