Possibly selling my armor and if I do it's today before DR ends...

Max light
T2 Knightwear (See below)
Greater Void Flares (retractive.. ie they go off if you get hit)

Crit Padding: rating of 5
Damage Padding: *was|* 5 points of damage with 11/20 services. I added 25 services today to it

You carefully inspect your vultite full plate.

Your careful inspection of some dark vultite full plate allows you to conclude that it is plate armor that covers the torso, arms, legs, neck, and head.

You determine that you could wear the plate around your chest. The plate appears to serve some purpose.

You remember that you registered this item about two years ago.

It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of vultite.
s>analy plate
You analyze your vultite full plate and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This plate is part of the interactive KnightWear family and is set up as an armor item with the Lance (traditional knight!) set of characteristics. KnightWear items have messaging that sometimes incorporate other worn Knightwear items and specific types of footwear into the messaging. Some messaging also differs when mounted on a Rumor Woods-style horse. You sense that the plate is currently Tier 2 (of 2). You can try to: WEAR, REMOVE, RUB, TAP, NUDGE, TURN, PUSH, and ATTEND the plate. Note: you can only wear 1 per "type" of KnightWear at a time (i.e. you can wear 1 KnightWear belt and 1 Knightwear surcoat at the same time, but you cannot wear 2 KnightWear belts at the same time).

~~ KNIGHTWEAR ALTERATION INFO ~~~
The vultite full plate may be altered within guidelines for its item type.

Optional: specify how your armor is assembled: "pieces" or "parts", more generic methods like "straps and buckles" or simply just "straps", etc. The default is no particular method. It is currently not set.

You can tell that the plate is as light as it can get.

By Greater Void Flares via cert you mean you added rare flares to them and asked for vacuum? Trying to figure out which HESS cert was used for this.

That is weird I thought they were weapon only and don't greater elemental flares take the script slot? Where do the knightwear go

This

"The bearer of this envelope is entitled to have Greater Elemental Flares added to an already flaring weapon of their choice. Supported flares are: fire, cold, lightning, impact, vacuum, and steam. If your weapon is not currently flared, we can add one of the supported flares for a 10k BS surcharge. Some weapons could be ineligible due to existing properties."

They're weapon only
Wyrom said verbatim on discord they are weapon only
They haven't been updated in the last week to not be weapon only
I'm almost positive knightwear isn't subscriptable (GEF damn sure isn't), so you don't have 2 scripts on this

Aside from some GM somehow changing the entirety of a script to fulfill your cert request without getting proper approval, at best these have standard vaccuum flares.

Well | used the HESS cert for the greater elemental and choice greater void flares and added it to the plate. Believe it or dont. Buy it or don't. I really dont fucking care especially since DR ends tonight to the best of my knowledge. I just know what I did to get them there in the first place. Otherwise you're saying my plate was bugged or somehow got both but I know for a fact it has the voids because they do go off when I get hit.

Greater void flares would be double flares (approximately 50% of the time). Are you seeing any double flares?

this should be a good thread

Greater flares don't go on armor. However, you likely purchased the rare flare cert and added vaccuum flares from that. All flares on armor are reactive.

Get a bard or you can 405 it and it'll say "is infused with greater elemental gravity flares."

I'd go with this reasoning until I read this.

"The bearer of this epistle can have rare flares added to an eligible item. Flare choices include Disintegrate, Dispel (1 spell), Disruption, Unbalance, or Grapple. Some items may be ineligible due to their current properties. WHISPER availability details to the epistle; if applicable, hold the item you want us to work on in your left hand, and REDEEM this epistle to use, which will cause the epistle to crumble. You have one week after Duskruin closes to redeem this or it is forfeit! No exceptions!"

Vacuum flares don't appear on the rare flare cert either. Nor are they on the common flare cert.

So my only guess is he paid for the GEF cert, they charged him the 10k surcharge to add the base flare type, and thats all he got. Even then thats a stretch.

They expanded what was available for the rare flares but don't seem to have updated the cert. No GM would have applied GEF to a suit of armor incorrectly.

Yeah instead of restocking the "uncommon" flare cert they just put the "uncommon" flares on the rare flare cert for rare flare prices.

Hey guys - just wanted to update you that the certificate flares now specifically say that claidhmores and naginatas are ineligible for these. It's always been the case, but it was not stated explicitly on the certs. It now does.

In addition, we've added some flares to the "rare flare epistle" certificate: Flare choices include Disintegrate, Dispel (1 spell), Disruption, Unbalance, Grapple, Acid, Plasma, Steam, Air, and Water.

Magma flares are not eligible for any of the flare certificates.

edit: air in this case is vaccuum / void, not some special air thing.
