Oh yea, welcome to OTF. Initiates typically have the greatest number of spells second to Adepts then Seers.
Nice use of Boneshatter as well... Always love to see one more empath hunting instead of whining/healing.

:sniffle: This is in strict violation of the guide :sniffle:
You need a TOS of adherance to the guide and a corperal punishment section for those who violate it...

Ugh, that does NOT make me miss OTF at all. As a cleric, it was pure hell, even at 100. I ended up respecc'ing to double spell aim so that I could chop them down with fire...which worked out better than anything.
OTF is a blast. So far I just hunt an empath there, but soon I hope to be hunting my rogue there...

Yeah, cleric spells suck-ass there.
I thought Naseer and Callinar survived fairly well there. There's another cleric I see hunting there and doing well (Silversi?) but the name escapes me I think.
How do rangers fare there?
Good I expect (hope).

Oh its alright. Its just our spells, compared to others, seem to be a lot weaker. 317 tears up the Ithzir, but I have to peck the death the Griffs with 302. Maybe when my CS is higher I can risk 317ing them.

This was before all the new spells (about 1+ years ago?) so I don't know how clerics do there now.
At the time, 302 was our staple, but even with a 476 CS it was hell getting through seers and initiates. With double spell aim, I had a bolt AS of around 400, which tore things up pretty good, especially since the ball effect would lop a few down at a time.
Do clerics do better there now? We were, by far, the bottom of the pure casting professions in ability there. Sorc/mages rule OTF, Snuffy would outcast me and laugh every bit of the way.

Naseer is, by a wide margin, the best solo OTF hunter.

302 has been pretty much been replaced by 317. Imagine the sort of damage 302 used to do...thats 317 now with a bit of an up-tweak (takes one or two casts to kill the Seers). 302 has become Mana Disrupt for clerics.

That is purely opinion there... I've seen several folks there, including my empath, that can hunt OTF solo with little or no problem at all. Hopefully you were just being facicious with that blanket statement.

You realize he IS Naseer, right? Hehe. When I hunted there, he wasn't, by a wide margin, the best. Maybe everyone started sucking recently, though.

They wear a lot of spells yea.. but you couldn't really miss it so why does it matter?
ahh, didnt know he was Naseer... ok, then the statement is understood correctly.

I wonder, now that Jamus says he'll be updating Psinet for paladins, if he can add 111 to the spellup list.

Silversi is not a cleric, she's an empath.

Tarakan? I save and raise Tarakan pretty often. I'm not saying he's bad, but Naseer is better.
Who the hell do you play?
Here's a log of about 30 seconds in which Naseer kills more OTF creatures than you've probably seen Celember.

Actually I was kidding, but if I had some chill pills...I would most definitely offer you some.
And its Medi who I hunt in OTF. Celember is still in the Labyrinth..4 more trains then he will be in OTF.
Enjoy life, its the only one you have..
:lol2:
He paying you silvers to say that?
I can honestly think of half a dozen hunters in OTF alone who are as good as if not better, with my empath being at the very bottom of that list.
Edited to add, yes... Naseer is good but calling him the greatest to walk through the portal in OTF is wayyyy off base. He must have you snowed for bailing your dead carcass out of OTF on a regular basis.

Seriously, are you two kidding? I know of two people who haven't died in OTF in months, at least because of critters or spell burst. The only reason my wizard died once in there this year was because someone forgot to clear their target.
