So, since FARK is finally up and running again, we are back in the flamewar hall of fame with another installment of the "peak oil" game.

What is y'alls take on this? Are we all going to be crushing our neighbors skulls with the molten slag from our former industry in 50 years or will we be flying around in nuclear powered hovercars living the high life? Or perhaps will things be relatively the same?

Maybe the religious groups can come up with some magic to make our lives better and be free from evil scientific thought.

deisel. You can convert it to run on vegetable oil if things get that bad.

That'd help with the farm surplus.

Honestly? I think we'll be fine as soon as we conclude we need to use it only for plastics. We'll have quality alternates up and running very fast.
