Panel: Agencies 'Dead Wrong' on Iraq WMDs (http://channels.netscape.com/ns/news/story.jsp?idq=/ff/story/0001/20050331/1001520625.htm)
What a bunch of bullshit. They were probably hoping to get people to buy into this as legit because it confirms what all the other panels before have said, and what people against this war have said. Yeah, we all know Iraq had no weapons and no ties despite the administration’s and media’s attempts at mixing it all together.
But now they want us to believe the White House has no responsibility in the matter. In fact, there is no one responsible as the blame falls on a generic term for the intelligence network.
100,000+ Iraqi civilians (mostly women and children) dead and no one is responsible.

"The analysts who worked Iraqi weapons issues universally agreed that in no instance did political pressure cause them to skew or alter any of their analytical judgments," the report said.
But the report added: "It is hard to deny the conclusion that intelligence analysts worked in an environment that did not encourage skepticism about the conventional wisdom."
And yet they can't answer 'an environment fostered by who?'. If it wasn't political pressure "disencouraging" skepticism about it, what did? That's bullshit. Someone has to make it clear, directly or otherwise, that only one sided reports are welcome.

And our media didn't give exorbetant coverage over stupid lip service issues such as "freedom fries."
This entire war makes me nauseated. If you want to bomb someone, bomb Saudi Arabia; the majority of 911 terrorists were from there anyway, I believe.
What kills me more about this was back in 2002, when Sadaam Hussein was given 24 hours to give up (and we fired prematurely, I believe), I was saying there were no WMDs, and everyone in my college class in rural michigan just stared at me like I was blaspheming.
It seems a little too convenient for me. Hussein threatens Bush Sr.'s life, and suddenly when Bush Jr is in office, we invade Iraq. Uhh Riiiiiiight.
Sure as hell, the blame rests on the commander in chief as he could have called off all the senseless crap at any time imo.

You're pissed that Bush didn't really go out of his way to lie, but was just given wrong info?
Wouldn't you rather have someone in office who didn't lie?
He didn't go out of his way to confirm the information as being accurate considering the tremendous responsibility of starting and ending a war.

I think we have most of the people responsible for it behind bars. We even have the big guy himself there.
