There's rarely a good song that is so original you will remember it for a long time.

Still, these days, I'm surprising myself in listening time after time "they" of Jem and "float on" of Modest mouse.

But in general, there's so few good songs these days:(

Keller made a post about it and I decided to download it and it's rad.

Leave it to Canada to steal the name of a classic 80's cartoon and use it for some Sarah McLachlan wannabe.

Jem was the cartoon, and the chicks all looked like some sort of odd combination of punk rock and barbie. Don't feel bad though, the best cartoon, Voltron Force, got ripped off too and made into a crappy cartoon called Voltron.

and being on topic -- this is what I've been listening to a lot lately...

Chevelle Vitamin, R
Cradle of Filth, Swansong
Breaking Benjamin, So Cold
You Shriek, Pandora

Apparantly it's an 80's cartoon named JEM, and the group is Canadian

Got by Mos Def

It's not new -- but it is good.

And the entire Black Star album (Mos & Talib)

For good old fashioned rock, try the Libertines.

The best way to sample music is the Itunes' music store. Works wonders.
