I like this thing but I think it's sort of going to waste on a non-ranged character.

a knotted oilcloth bag
+25 perception bonus
Pickpocket trap
I think it actually had 999 charges when it was released in May. We can try to grab a bard to confirm if you want. I'd guess I've burned off like 5 of them or less.
Weights 2 lbs (per repeated WEIGH commands, not loresong). Lightening notes don't work on it.

MB 50m
SOLD to sfmatthias0 for 180m

Cash accepted at $5.25/m. Bloodscrip accepted at 1 bloodscrip per 1000 silver. These exchange rates will be honored for any bid placed while they are published in this post, if they are bid in that denomination. I reserve the rate to change accepted exchange rates mid-auction. The change would only apply to future bids.
I'll close out the auction somewhere around 24-48 hours after the last bid.
I will entertain buyout offers.

I will also entertain trade offers, though I'm not looking for anything specific, and I already have a lot of things, so it may be difficult to close a deal this way. My interests include:

Enhancive Spell Knowledge, Self Mana, and Self-recharging magic items.
Worn enhancives. Of note: STR, AGI, DEX, AUR, WIS, LOG, Polearms, Combat Maneuvers, Multi-opponent combat, dodging, magic item use, spell aim
Other combat buffs in general (usually not into fluff as much)

Dett says, "Another pickpocket trap. There is a high chance if someone tries to steal from you, this bag will emit a spray so disgusting, they can't make hold onto whatever they got."
Dett says, "It also enhances your perception by 25." [bonus]
Dett says, "It is worn on your belt."
Dett says, "It is not a container."
Dett says, "The bag is knotted and sealed with that foul liquid."
Dett says, "It does need to be recharged, it doesn't crumble."
Dett says, "And it has a lot of charges, you won't need to worry about recharging for a long long time."

Someone asked if these defend against Ithzir stealing your stuff. It seems somewhat unlikely, but I did a test. tl;dr: results were inconclusive, but it still seems unlikely that the bag matters against ithzir.

You are currently wearing:
Attached to your belt:
an off-white cotton sack (functional)
a knotted oilcloth bag (functional)

(2 items displayed.)

>look in my sack
In the cotton sack you see a dragonfire emerald, a white opal, a white opal, a white opal, a green sapphire, a green sapphire and a green sapphire.

Yep, that's all I was wearing. Let's go to OTF!
[...]
It seems you have died, my friend. Although you cannot do anything, you are keenly aware of what is going on around you...
[...]
An Ithzir adept rifles through your gear! Somebody call a constable!

The adept didn't actually take anything - same items in inventory after I departed and checked. But there was no evidence that the bag made any difference in that.

Compare to a player character stealing from my dead corpse:

With bag:
HelpfulVolunteer moves his hand out away from himself.
Without bag:
You notice HelpfulVolunteer reach into your pockets and remove nothing.
You turn quickly and grab HelpfulVolunteer's wrist, but he had nothing in his hand.

You notice HelpfulVolunteer reach into your cotton sack and remove a white opal!

Since the messaging is different between player pickpocket and ithzir corpse looting, it seems they are different systems. Since Wyrom said nothing about preventing creatures from looting you when he auctioned it, and since there's no messaging to suggest it mattered, it seems quite unlikely that the bag helps with creatures.
