I got a stupid speeding ticket a week or so ago.. and I have chosen to get the points taken off and an 18% reducement in the fine.. so I have to go to Traffic School. It's online, so I was like SWEET! I'll "do" this school from the office and not really pay attention since I am certain I could get better than an 80% on the test.

Well, let's just say it sucks.

First of all, there are 4 chapters which you are required to spend 50 minutes on each chapter before going forward. I was like fine, I'll print the fucking chapter and then just do something else for 50 minutes. Well that would have been just too damn easy. First of all, they ask you all of these security questions throughout the course to make sure it's you taking the course. Not that bad I suppose.. but they also monitor your scrolling as well.. if there is no scrolling in 5 minutes, then they log you out and your time is set back to the last time you answered a security question.

50 minutes is a LONG ASS TIME to do a chapter. They print up as 25 pages, but they are all big print with pictures throughout.. so it really takes me like 10 minutes to read the entire thing and 40 to make sure I am not getting logged out.

It sucks.

AT LEAST YOU DON'T HAVE TO SIT IN A CLASSROOM FOR 4-8 HOURS WITH OTHER DRIVING LOSERS AND LISTEN TO SOMEONE LECTURE YOU ABOUT SPEEDING AND HAVING TO STAND AND STATE WHY YOU ARE A DRIVING DUMBASS!

Sorry, relived that tragic day all over again when you mentioned traffic school. Shut up and read for 50 minutes and quitcherbitchin'.

Yea.. I should thank my stars for not having to go to a classroom.. but the 'safeguards' on this damn site drive me crazy!

4 chapters of 50 minutes equates to roughly a half of a work day.

Really should not be that hard to spend 1 hour in the morning, 2 for lunch, and another hour before going home... alt-tabbing to the thing and scrolling.

Meanwhile, I got to be impressed that a Governmental institution has a program that is not abusable (as you demonstrated by not being able to cheat it). :wow:

I'd take the online over driving class ANY DAY. In those fucking things you ALWAYS get the one fucking idiot that has to ask stupid questions throughout the ENTIRE FUCKING THING and you don't get out at the time you're supposed to.

I could make the program - but it would require the IE window to be the top window. Meaning no other programs can be used on that PC. Also would need the title of the IE window.

I was framed?

It was a fucking road that goes through all these backward ass hillbilly villages in Florida. You have to go from 65 to 35 in 3 feet..

I got caught going 63 in a 45 by a man OLD ENOUGH TO BE MY FATHER! That's fucking old.
