I've just reinstalled Windows and then reinstalled Lich, but my new Lich installation is running extremely sluggishly, and taking up a remarkable amount of available CPU ability. Logging into the game without Lich does not create the same lag. I'm running Windows 10 on a Lenovo laptop with a Core i3-7130U CPU @ 2.70 Ghz with a dual-core processor, an SSD, and 16G of RAM, which should be more than sufficient. Anyone have any thoughts for what might be interfering and how to fix it?
Edit: Eventually fixed this with a clean Windows reinstall.

Try killing LNET and see if that resolves it. For reasons I don't know, every once it a great while it will consume a full CPU and slow everything down. If that's it, wait until you can idle at a table for ~15 minutes and re-start LNET. Once it is done doing whatever, things go back to normal.

Thanks for that tip. I tried it out, and I was hoping that was it, but unfortunately it didn't work. I think it's a problem with how Ruby is running, but I'm not sure what.
