When a blank weapon gets swung at a creature, it instantly becomes bound to the noun of the target. So for instance, an elemental will cause it to be an elemental death dagger. From there on, when swung against something with the noun of elemental, it will get additional flares, I believe may be double strikes and/or air flares against those targets when swung. Binding it to a particular enemy type is permanent, and cannot be undone.

Correct!

It's double strike flares, but it's old style double strike. It's not a new swing like coraesine or kai weapons, it's similar to a normal flare just with messaging indicating you've struck again
