View Full Version : Help Out a Gamer Chick

A friend of my wife's and mine from college is currently in Belgium. Due to some idiocy with her Belgian visa, she is unable to work, and her parents aren't helping her for anything besides her food bills. This means she's having difficulty taking care of anything else.

Here's a couple links related to helping her out.

http://www.whatistheguido.com/

The "Donate to Wendy" button.

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5966820470&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

I mean... how many of you guys have wanted a girlfriend on the side... who's a gamer... who you don't actually have to worry about actually being there, but is in an exotic location. I'm sure that's like a dream to some of you.

By the way... as an added Gemstone bonus...she's like the RL equivalant of an alterer. She was one of my wife's bridesmaids and she chased my wife around, fixing her dress, whenever my wife danced too wildly and it started ripping/having issues. She's much younger than Kyalia too.

I was told it works.

Did and I stand by my idea. And there's temporary visa to works when it's a "vital" need.

ohohoho.

How can you stand by an idea when it was stated that she can't work because of visa issues?

That's the "feature" of the X style of logic?

Because having visa issues isn't enough of a reason to not work.

We (your country and mine) got thousand and thousand of examples about it, by the way.

Since there's been at least a small amount of buzz created about me, here's a few details for the curious: I am a full time student, but I do have hobbies. I love to travel, read, and yes, I'm a gamer chick. Pen and paper RPGs, Live Action, XBox, board games and card games are things I enjoy. I'm currently stoytelling for World of Darkness live action game and playing once a month in a Vampire the Requiem live action game. Favorite games include In Nomine (RPG), Lunch Money (card, non-CCG), and Halo (XBox). Other hobbies include swimming, learning French, and good conversation

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA oh man...

What was the song? I'm popular...

Wow, what a bizarre thread. Why not just name the auction "I am a girl, give me your money cyber-nerds".

Seriously, what kind of demented mind thinks up these things!? Doesn't she have any self-respect?

Worse, she's married.

And even worse, she's trying to make the world swallow that with 150 USD, she'll be able to have her studies down.

Or that she'll be back for more.

pitiful.

Apparently not. But what does that say of the people actually bidding and donating?

Most of them are the kind of people that gives money for attention/sexuality.

And it's legal for most things associated to it.

Which is worse, still?

What does it say about Warriorbird's view of the PC when he brings this nonsense here like there are plenty of suckers here to bid on it!?

So how poor is she if she put a $99.99 bid on an auction for a cell phone that ended just three days ago?

Check all the craps she bought.

For someone poor, she have very weird needs...

Xcalibur

studying takes more than 4 months here, at least.

Fission

She could have had trouble between when she bought the kimonos and now, but being ready to throw down almost $100 on a phone a few days ago really doesn't help her case.

If you're that hard up, you should be selling stuff, not trying to buy even more.

Nah, when you're a student advanced like that in Masters degree in International Relations, you're surely smart.

Smart enough to know that you need X amount of money per month.

That's a total crap!

Warriorbird

She was trying to replace a phone to dial the states with. Unfortunately, she ended up not being able to upload her software. I thought it was sort've innovative. She's an old friend and definitely single.

Warriorbird

As for the visa issues... her main work experience is in the hotel industry... and the Belgian hotels don't seem interested in hiring her.

Xcalibur
04-01-2005, 03:55 PM
how much she needs to have until the end of her studies?

Warriorbird
04-01-2005, 03:56 PM
I'm not sure. I just thought it'd draw some attention/amuse a bit here.

Warriorbird
04-01-2005, 04:12 PM
Her other donation place is still up, however. I'll ask about how much she needs total at some point.

That was really an insult to X, not her :)
