Got a friend at work who I recently showed the wonders of bittorrent, and he's wondering if anyone knows about any anime that's bloody, gory, and still has some form of plot to it. Anyone have any that's downloadable via bittorrent?

Check for Berserk. That one is pretty bloody. Same with Hellsing. If your looking for stand alones, Ninja scroll, Aikara, and Mermaid Scar are all pretty fucked up shows.

I'd say "Yugi-oh" could meet your requirements. Though the gore is limited.

i dont know about the downloadin part but Ninja Scroll is one of the better animes that is "bloody, gory, and still has some form of plot to it" ,a few others that come to mind are Bastard the complete series, Akira but ya prolly saw that one , Fist of the North Star (old yet still real good) ,Shadow Skill , Wicked City, and Vampire Hunter D ,both the first and second one

I'll look into Hellsing to see if it's on bittorrent. Everything else mentioned has been viewed before. Anyone else no anything that's currently being fansubbed that would be good, in the extremely violent but has a plotline category?

Well, if you can find it. Gantz was a great show..for the ones I saw of it.

I spent 2 hours looking for Gantz one day....nothing, especially that theanimenetwork has it now. I've been pestering my cable company to add it on to their channel list, to no avail though.

Cowboy Bebop is old now. Trying to look for current stuff, without having to spend time downloading each and every bittorent'able anime to see if it's good or not.

Thanks for the help though.

God yes. I've been trying to get Charter to carry it for a while now. Its 24/7 anime, and it has VOD.
