Urglaes fangs

Looking to gather up some of these for an alteration project, assuming most GALD merchants still ask for rare metal replacements. Let me know if you are a regular rift hunter and willing to gather up about 10 for me.

They definitely do, but there are heavy restrictions on what you can do with urglaes, and the fangs specifically. Most, if they will use them at all, will only let you add them as they are, and only as decoration, not to add urglaes as a material base for other parts of an alter.

Dodeign says, "Things like urglaes fangs can never be forged and could only possibly be attached to a non-combat item in its whole and original form."

Ores aren't supposed to be able to be used as alter fodder. Mainly because ores typically contain very little of the actual material. Mostly stone and whatnot.
