With the new Fixskills coming in a couple of weeks I am hoping I can get some input on my sniping rogue. I really do not have any glaring problems that I am aware and looking for input.

Thanks in advance

First question, why Surge? Are you under the bonus needed to minimize roundtime for your bow? Honestly an investment in a few Strength enhancives will save you some valuable CMAN points that are otherwise being wasted.

Also, since you are maxed on Shadow Mastery, have you looked at Shadow Dance? Making Smastery a passive effect is worth its weight in gold for a sniper. Probably THE most useful CMAN for that build now.

Another question, why so much harness power? I don't see any spells in your skills and honestly at 37 that is super overkill unless you are ewaving or something, which is really too expensive to work with at that level. Those points could be used elsewhere to much greater effect. Worst case, pump your MIU so imbeds last way longer. Same would go for mana control skills. Why?

I'd also start thinking about working in Multi-Opponent. With the new changes coming down the pipeline you will be able to multi-shot using MoC with bows. I'm not sure how valuable this might be for a sniper. But it could let you multi-shot from the open if you need a finisher as well as give you some pushdown protection. I wouldn't go crazy with it, but getting 25-30 ranks would be worth the investment, especially since rogues are getting an invisible bonus to trained MoC ranks for the purposes of ranged attacks.

In addition to Shadow Dance (just the first rank, I don't see the benefit for the second), Divert is another useful skill to have for a sniper.

If you're in CoL, you can safely dump the HP down to the minimum you need to keep yer signs up, if you're not you can dump it all... until/unless you start learning spells. It's just a waste of TPs til then. So are the ranks in EMC. That should allow you to get CM and PF up to 2x, which will help defend against maneuvers and allow you to train in more CM skills.

If you have the points, getting MIU or Arcane Symbols is a good way to get most spells and is less costly then actually learning spells.

Is sniping worth it or should I just UAC? Was going to build a high STR race rogue for the cock bonus, just so I can talk about it on lnet, but can't quite buy into it yet. Most of the high STR races have low STR/AGI bonus so wouldn't be as great of a UAC. I wouldn't be skinning at all, preferring to put as many TPs into combat skills, and would use my lockpicking skills to gain wealth, so sniping skinning wouldn't be too impressive for me there. I wouldn't mind dealing with ammo if I could put together a decent script.

*edit. I thought about this for about 5 minutes and realized I answered most of my own questions, but feel free to discuss or point anything out
