Pardon my confusion, but how do you threaten to pull an auction you didn't set a Minimum Bid for? Set the MB/BO prices you're looking for.

Withdrawing my bid, found something else. Never replied to any of my private messages.

So this clown has the nerve to down rank me after not replying to 3 of my private messages about bids (more than 24 hours total), what a jerk. I'd steer clear of him in the future, just be warned.

Zzyzx

I didn't down rank anyone on rep.
I am not on much but I reply at least once a day.
Thanks for the advice HebrewToYou. I have never sold anything on these boards.
Will adjust the MB and BO accordingly.

I wasn't going to say anything but now I think I should. Your reputation on PC is tarnished for a reason, and it's not something that can be recovered easily through shady merchanting. A few things stuck out to me that you should try to avoid: posting items that have an ask that would waste our time, backing out of deals that don't fit your expectations, and justifying bad deals you may have previously made. You're at risk of all three of these in this post. A: a MB in excess of 300 dollars on a compartment quiver when the changes to said quiver have already been announced as QoL only, B: threatening to pull the item because the current bid at die down doesn't meet an unmentioned reserve, and C: Reporting the you've paid 600 USD plus on said quiver is just asking for ridicule when at all times they were available the cost of bloodscrip was perhaps a 360 dollar investment at best.

It's your sale. Do what you want. But don't expect to lose that rep easy- most of these guys are brutal.

Edit* And thanks for the downrep =)

Sarcasm doesn't help you communicate a minimum bid. Post what you require to be paid [at a minimum] to sell the item and save your potential buyers the confusion.

I'm not sure why the OP didn't just put $600 minimum bid when the auction was created. Was it assumed it would get that high and the desire was to have a rush of bidding that built to that amount? Was it an oversight? I think the bidders involved deserve an answer from the OP so confusion is removed on what happened.

OP already gave an answer which basically equated to 'It's my first day' not sure much more is forthcoming

I don't know. I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt.. then I took a neg rep hit from anon, and noticed that his rep had gone from deep 1 bar red to half filled green in the span of 2 hours. Kinda rethinking what's goin on here.

DRAMA QUIVER! FIRST IN!

I will graciously accept this quiver as a gift to resolve this matter once and for all. No need to thank me, just trying to keep the peace.

Thank you to everyone who responded to this post.
I really do value the positive criticism, especially from HebrewtoYou and Slit-eye.
This really is my first time selling items.
I received both negative and positive rep for this.
I did not rep anyone on this thread one way or the other.
I really purchased the quiver in game for $600.
I really don't check this board often but at least once a day.
The guy who complained about lack of response initially sent his private message to me at 11:44 PM, then complains I don't respond quick enough and pulls his buy out the next day at 5:40 PM (18 hours later) so his post of more than 24 hours is inaccurate.
All I want to do is sell the only two items I have of value to help me and my family through this virus pandemic.

I don't really know where to go from here.

Thanks again to everyone!

Well it seems fair and obvious. A text quiver does not feed your family. Continue the auction if you really need to liquidate. If you're capable of holding on to the quiver and finding funding through some other means, by all means do so. But I'm not convinced you'll ever see 600 bucks from an auto-quiver when fully unlocked was 120k BS, and the previous BS to silver (at 4bucks per mil at the time) ratio was 80%... which means 384 dollars. 600 just seems like someone ripped you off, and my heart goes out to ya. Whatever you do, fam always comes first. Reputation on PC is repairable in time.

HebrewToYou

Update your initial post, sir. Post your required minimum bids to actually sell the shop and quiver. Then we'll see if people are going to offer you what you're expecting. But I'm not going to bid on the quiver if you're threatening to pull the auction. It's really that simple.

According to the Bloodriven Village on Wiki the quiver cost in BS was:
Quiver 2,500
T1 Unlock 13,434
Extra Compartments 69,020 (17,255 per X 4 extra slots I believe)
Advancement Certificate 17,255
Total 102,209

Cost from T1 - T2 = ?
I think the cost was around 50,000 if you could get one because I think they only sold 2
Also the seller told me he was into the quiver for 155,000 BS
At $4 conversion rate that would be $620. I bought for $600.
At today's conversion rate, that would be more.

Just defending my purchase price. It appears I will need to sell this quiver for less.

Thanks again for the helpful comments. I REALLY appreciate them!

The quiver shop was still doing scaling at a time everyone else stopped. Its obvious those numbers were weird since they're odd numbers.

If i recall correctly, the first few purchases were more like:

T1=5k or 10k
Extra compartments = 1k each
Advancement Cert = 5k
T2 = 50k

So more like 65-70k as an actual price.

Slit-eye

Which wouldve been 50m, or 200$ USD in Feb. But whatever. It looks like he's completely pulled the sale in spite of attempts to save his rep.

Fryinhades
05-07-2020, 09:53 AM
The ones from February were higher. The numbers he posted were the right ones for compartments, and the 1 unlock. For the t2 unlock I believe it was either 50k or 65k roundabouts plus another 2 compartments. So sounds about near what the quote was roughly. About 150-160k or so bs

I know t1 fully unlocked for sure was around 80k bs though so 34 k+50k or 60k sounds about the right number

Again, per the Bloodriven Village page on Wiki (see below):

Point is moot as the quiver has been SOLD so I don't quite understand the comment about "It looks like he's completely pulled the sale in spite of attempts to save his rep".

Rep is basically meaningless when people can 1) Post Rep Anonymously 2) Don't even post a comment. I got a neg rep yesterday with a "." comment.

I will delete the quiver from the original post so not to confuse anyone. The auction now is just for the Landing Shop.

I’m not following all the drama here but certainly these are worth more than the OTS cert price given scarcity, right?

Right click inspect the element of the rep comment on your settings page, the last part of reputationbit (highlighted) is the member id. Match the member id to the user by plugging it in at the end of:

http://forum.gsplayers.com/member.php?

ex: 6 is my member id, so mine looks like

http://forum.gsplayers.com/member.php?6

There was an extension you could install that did things automatically, but it's out of date and only has older members. I look forward to some juicy drama here, don't let me down.

So the T2 compartment cert sold for 50k for the first and 75k for the second and then sold out. Someone paid over 100k bloodscrip at wyrom’s auction for one and people have offered me 150k bloodscrip for mine when I got it. So I wouldn’t downplay the value of this especially with the new changes. These are rare and there are not many around.
