It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of vultite.

Also since I can guess why you are asking this, I took a read on it with my wiz. He's level 92 and 166 wiz ranks. No familiar and not in a workshop I got the best read possible read so it's not some crazy difficulty.

You analyze your vultite short sword and sense that there is no recorded information on that item. It may or may not be able to be worked on by a merchant alterer.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the vultite short sword for you.

That's the analyze.

When you actually do the morphing, it does underline and reference the current and previous weapon bases as a variable and the bases themselves do not appear to be hard coded into the morphing messaging so maybe? I'm not a GM and don't know anything about how it works so that's just me being optimistic.

Gripping your vultite short sword tight, you push against the bone and it responds by splintering as it contracts into a smaller weapon. Sinew envelops the sword and tightens, holding the metal together with the bone.

It's blessable so it's not B&D. My guess is slot D only.
