Yup, I think I’m going to be in the same boat in a month or two; the HR people are being extra nice to me nowadays for some reason and HR people are never like that.

What did you do before being laid off? Also, think about trade schools or certs, apprenticeships can get you paid and trained at the same time.

Fantastic plate, especially for a paladin.

As per seeing the previous post and wanting there to be no confusion - NO. You will not be able to further enhance this armor through typical means. It's very close to it's end of cycle unless slot changes occur, or you maybe spend PPs on enhancives (not sure you'll be allowed to, but I suppose it's possible). You will not be able to ensorcel it, even if you COULD get past the -900 difficulty for the padding, the script modifier, resistances and enchant height. Don't buy it thinking you're going to make it better with a troll spine either as you would be dumb to waste its enhancive potential on +3 health and stamina. This armor has been flagged as anti-magic as so many old powerful items have, and can only realistically be furthered through the WPS system.

Not that game mechanics let you take it higher in any other system anyway, but I felt it necessary to have this disclaimer out here in case some random Joe says "Hey! I just blew 2 billion silvers on a suit of armor that I expected to ensorcel or put banshee flares on!" Because yes. Random Joe exists somewhere.

Is it the same Joe that's the plumber?
(Also nice armor)

You can add more resistances, and TD. I suppose you could continue with the padding, but not much gain there at this point. The TD is probably pointless for a paladin, but a good net gain at a high cost for a warrior or rogue. A paladin buyer could focus on the resistances.

You should post the actual warrior assessment. It's a little weak to claim superb crit padding when you're just 1% of the way into the first CER past masterful, but it's still some pretty great armor. Post the full text of the assessment for clarity.

You can't add TD. It has flares. The resistances can go up via DR certs. Assess has been appended.

Chances are a paladin in armor like this is already immune to most normal hunting dangers, so in that respect TD wouldn't be a bad addition for dealing with invasion-clerics turning you to dust. Resistance is almost certainly more effective in terms of effort to effect though. Funny to think my armor would be almost a copy of this, if I didn't get bored to death of reim after two months and end up going for a different armor script.

I thought TD was category B (mutually exclusive (https://gswiki.play.net/Item_properties) with the grapple flares). No?

You can't add TD. It has flares. The resistances can go up via DR certs. And the assess has been posted: Examining the armor closely, it looks like it is decently padded (90 services), lessening the damage the wearer takes. It also appears that it is superbly padded against critical blows (501 services). If you have trust issues that would be solved by the wording being an alterable cut and paste instead, I don't think there's much help for ya.

My point on the wording is just that there's a line missing, and you've edited what's there. I'm just trying to help you clear up any ambiguity and sell your nice armor. I'm not personally in the market, but those who are might want that added bit of clarity of an exact and complete quote. You can add the total number of services separately. Your sale though, so it's your call. Best of luck.

I haven't played a paladin, but my limited observational experience is that they are more likely to take a physical hit than get their TD warded, but you would know better than me.

Pre-cap and non-shield users are sure to get hit more in melee. I just pictured this armor being used on someone post cap enough to have stacked on dodge and spells to the point that is not an issue. Now that you bring it up, I guess someone could drop a truckload of cash to put this on their level 25 paladin...

Oh snap. I hadn't even considered the thought of putting this on a lowbie. Expensive as hell, but it would be giggly.
