More info from last night

Just keeps coming back.

Someone told me they were an LT in the good ol' service. They couldn't give me any information that I asked. They didn't even have a degree. They couldn't even tell me what their MOS was. Liars piss me off. I remember getting rowdy at him and then moving away.

Someday if I ever end up in the JAG corps, I'll be in the military. Republicans everywhere will weep.

Needless to say, however, and more on topic, I've always hated people lying about their military service. Closest I've ever seen my great uncle come to hitting someone (he is INCREDIBLY dignified) is when someone lied about being in the Air Force and lied about Groom Lake in his presence. As it was, I think he had a serious talk with his granddaughter about dating the fellow.

you do not have to have a degree to be a LT in the army.

No, but you need to be damn close to having one. Kinda hard to do when you don't even go to a college.

Theoretically, can't there be battle promotions? Not saying this person was one, mind.

If there was a battlefield promotion, I'm sure he would have stated that.
