I am starting to work on the Spellburst effects of certain hunting areas I want to hunt in as soon as I can get to them.

Well, the brawling training gives away (at least to me) which warrior this is.

Anyhow, two things, isn't your shield training a bit high? And secondly, you didn't want 30 or 35 ranks of MOC?

O, I don't care if you know what warrior this is, its Finiswolf. :-)

I am considering dropping the shield to 2x. On one hand, 3x means 53 (at this level) more DS which is nice, he is hard to hit physically and with bolt spells. On the other hand, I lose 53 DS, at like level will be getting hit, but I free up TP's to work on something else.

I am working on getting to 40 ranks of MOC. Someday it may happen, though the magic I am attempting to get is screwing that up.

"though the magic I am attempting to get is screwing that up."

I really don't think you need that this early.

I guess if you like slow hunting this is cool...apart from that.

Get those extra 20+ ranks for full plate.

3x shield and 2x dodge on a warrior is fucking ridiculous.

Latrinsorm

I'd say drop dodge to 1x and use a tower shield.

If it was me, I would drop the extra shield ranks into armor so you can get into plate - like now.

But 3x shield and 2x+dodge does = MASSIVE DS and uber redux ranks.

On that note, you might consider buffing PF to get it to full 3x.

Other than that, it looks like your basic sword and board. Enjoy!

1x dodge with a tower shield is pointless

Drop the dodge and raise physical fitness and moc.

Latrinsorm

With .5x dodge and a tower, my warrior dodges attacks at a noticeable rate.

Also, dodge is just about the worst thing to train in for redux, especially before fully tripling PF.

Thanks again! I am whiddling...

Then again, I am also considering the Paladin AS, and seeing how much my AS will rise, as I run a warrior regimine with single spells for my paladin.

Just thoughts...

Well you'd have to get rid of the tripled shield, for one thing, which means you'd want at least 1.5x dodge. For 1.5x dodge, 2x armor, 2x shield, 2x edged, 2x brawling, 2x PF, 1x CM, and 1x spell, you'd be spending 63/43 a level, which is way more than you'll ever have.

Just stick with a warrior. We're much cooler. :)

1.5X dodge would be useless and you'd remove 2X brawling also.

You'd remove 1X pf too.

And you'd take 1X hp

That'd be better for a start.

Which is why you would cut out dodge and brawling.

You dodge even without the skill in defensive, Latrin.

You wouldn't mind providing a reference, would you? Because even as crazy as GS is, it seems that being able to dodge with 0 dodge ranks is too crazy.

Warriorbird

Can't anymore, sadly, having quit...but I dodged all the damn time in defensive with my 3x shield warrior. As it is, using a tower shield negates a MASSIVE amount of the benefit of dodging unless you train it heavily.

Latrinsorm

Did you have blurs on, by any chance?

Having done some calculations..., and having seen a train 95 paladin that swings lower then Finis (train 52) now... I am staying (as it should be) a warrior. I would simply lose too much AS.

If I had converted...

2X shield / ohe / cman
1X armor / PT / HP / spells

Something like that ...

The train 15 paladin that I have swings 261 with a regimine very similar to this. ::shrug::

That 95 paladin must have the shittiest training ever.

I never used blurs...and yeah, that 95 paladin must suck...or have a ton of spells.

No idea how the 95 Paladin is trained, sure as hell shocked the hell outta me!

Ok, so instead of o he sucks, aproximations on what a trained paladin (the way I plan to train him) will have as an AS?

Curious all, I am loving all the info, thanks again!
