It didn't look like it hit a vein and the scissors were stuck in his arm, effectively staunching the blood. We only saw the arm for a couple seconds, so it's entirely possible he didn't start bleeding until after the shot.

You're not very familiar with stab wounds, are you? Ever read Where the Red Fern Grows? The only thing I remember from that book is learning not to pull out an axe if it's in your stomach or you'll bleed to death.

No I'm not. I thought it was real at first till I showed it to two people and they both said it was fake because of the fact there wasn't any blood. I'm happily not familiar with stab wounds.

A clean cut will delay any appearance of blood. Combine that with the scissors being lodged in his arm, and you get a very likely situation where you see no blood.

Fake as there's no blood at all, we're not speaking of spuring and stuff like that.

Anything that enter the human body that fast would left a trace of blood around it and fast.
