Help new Cleric

I Want to make me a Runestaff holding cleric that uses only spells. I want to know if doing this will work and is it any good if not can I please get some tips and info please thanks

Brawling/Shield is much better for a cleric.

Even just shield is good Azuos.

What you are asking to be able to do is feasible as well.

So many things are feasible.

You can even do a weapon/shield cleric.

Completely up to you.
