I'll give you 3$ per 1k, and buy it all.

3 per is during duskruin sometimes . Before and after it would be silly for them to sell at that terrible price

So during DR is the normal price, but to sell now would be a terrible price? What is the point of overinflating currency you can't use for 4+ months?

Counterintuitive, I agree. This is largely due to the limited quantity items available at the opening of HESS that creates an incentive to hold large blocks between runs. Two things should smooth this out: opening HESS a few days after DR opens and bloodscrip multipliers, both of which will enable folks to gather large blocks prior to HESS without having to hold over from the last run.

They should just sell bloodscrip directly from the Simucoin store. Having a 10x multiplier is the same thing.

They should just sell bloodscrip directly from the Simucoin store. Having a 10x multiplier is the same thing.

This reminds me of a marketing case study when during the 50's a cake company released a new instant cake mix that only required adding water. Customers expressed dissatisfaction with the product and it didn't sell well. The company revised the mix to be slightly more difficult to use by requiring the consumer to add eggs and water, and then the mix started to sell well--the conclusion being that consumers prefer a bit more work and they will get much more satisfaction and engagement with the product.

The principle above is probably why they won't ever sell silver/BS or whatever currency directly. Even a 10x multiplier still requires someone to do a run.
