Anyone play this anymore? Crazy amount of development seems to still be happening. Thinking of checking it back out now that the 64 bit client is up and running.

You really can form bands and play Slayer songs in LOTRO though. I'm not joking.

Here's a non-Slayer example, becuase the Slayer one I found was just one guy playing solo.

I played it years ago when it was run by a different company. I haven't kept up on any of the updates.

Until a couple of years ago I still payed, the landscapes of the game are amazing, Moria expansion was by far my favorite expansion of any game I have ever played. Stopped playing after they opened Mordor, after ya get to the end what's left lel.

I played until the first update after Mordor. They opened the Iron Hills, Vales of Anduin, and Minas Morgul since. I think I'll just pop in and check it out. I'm sure I'll have a zillion things to relearn.

I just finally shut down my account, emptied out my house etc. I didn't enjoy Mordor at all and the later zones either. Like Ardwen I probably stayed around because I enjoyed the landscape a lot.

Good chance, its where I ended up after the server consolidation of 2015. :/ I had been on a quiet server since 2007, Nimrodel. Mostly playing alts, I've got to get over my tendency to dive into mechanics of all the various classes etc in an mmorpg.
