Alright let me first start saying is, Emeradan is my favorite GM so none of this is any way to put him down, he just happened to be the GM i got.

A small, shady park fills an old vacant lot behind a row of buildings, the bustling sounds of the square filtering through the passage to the north to animate the area despite its appearance of peace and serenity. A weatherworn grey marble statue of a stocky human in pioneer's clothing overlooks the park, his stone hat encrusted by the gifts of decades of passing birds and his right hand half-upraised as if it once held some now-missing object. You also see a wooden arrow, a raven, a small rose, a wooden shield, some light leather, a short sword, a piece of iron and a small pumpkin.

With a dull thud and rattle of keys in a lock, the door closes and locks, leaving you trapped within.

Dirty walls surround you, and a metal-banded door blocks your only exit. From somewhere in the darkness you can hear the sound of a creature moving about. You also see a pair of fruit-stained trousers and a fruit-stained tunic.

The courtroom is uncomfortably chilly and plainly furnished. Several benches are lined up to face a raised platform at the far end of the room. The town magistrate dispenses justice, swiftly and summarily, seated in the straightbacked chair behind a simple table on the platform. An armed guard leans against the wall, next to the door, looking casual but ready for trouble should it arise. You also see a curtained entryway and a mahogany door.

The judge studies you carefully, then motions toward the bailiff who cries out, "Here before ye is the malefactor Ganimead.
The bailiff says, "Ganimead is charged with 3 counts of murder. Ganimead is charged with 1 count of endangering public safety. These 4 crimes carry a total fine of 590400 silvers."
The judge glances at you and says, "The monotony of my day continues on. And trust me, you're not spicing it up. Moving right along... Guilty on all counts! You're lucky I don't throw in a few more for good measure!"
He continues, "I've decided that I'm not going to let you serve community service, so don't get your hopes up. To this aim, you may either pay the fine of 590400 silvers plus any other outstanding debts you may owe, or serve a total of 44 minutes of incarceration. You may ANSWER me either FINE or INCARCERATION as your choice. But I digress. Choose quickly, now, lest I hold you in contempt of court for wasting my time."

This is the great lobby of the Moot Hall. Hushed voices discussing urgent town matters echo off the high ceiling. The walls are draped in rich tapestries framing niches that hold marble busts of local dignitaries. Ahead of you is a double door, and to your left, a mahogany door bearing a silver plaque. You also see a blackboard, a small brass plaque with a map of town mounted on the wall, a staircase with a sign on it, the Debt Collector's Office and a huge wall map of the lands carved from solid maple and polished to a deep sheen.

Here in the center of a broad plaza near the commercial area of the bazaar stands the impressive facade of the slate-roofed Moot Hall, where the citizens of Wehnimer's Landing hold various official, religious and social functions. This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end of the space, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. He continues, "You have 240 minutes to pay both the fine, and any other debts you may owe off, otherwise your seized property will be sold to raise the funds. Now be away with you!"

You find yourself wandering amidst endless streaming light and vast nothingness. This place feels torn between two powers, polar opposites vying for your loyalty. You are surrounded by the spirits of those who could not choose. The only way out seems to be through light or darkness.
Time has no meaning as you wander aimlessly amidst the uncomfortable tugging for your attention. Hopelessness washes over dreams you once held like the creeping tide of doom.
After what could be moments, or perhaps an eternity, the goddess Lorminstra finds you wandering in the endless space and speaks soothingly to you. She gently reassembles the pieces of your tattered soul and then, taking you by the hand, the goddess leads you back to mortality...

The altar is plain, and bears only onyx bowls of smouldering incense and smoking paraffin. Draped behind it is a cloth banner, appliqued with an ancient mystical pattern. A legend is embroidered along the bottom. On the far side of the room at the end of an aisle, you see two pillars.

Two pillars frame a simple chapel. Followers of the land's many religions offer prayers here, each to their own gods. On a pine pew a Zhaolmin monk in tattered robes sits beside a solitary elf softly intoning an ancient chant. In front of the pews, you see an unadorned altar. You also see an ebony door, a curved arch, a black arch and a white marble arch.

On the west side of this narrow stretch of Cheridin Avenue is the wooden back of the Moot Hall, and the dour building that houses the local constabulary and its jail looms along the other side of the street. To the southeast, a stone dome rises over the compound that surrounds the Landing's largest temple. The traffic here flows quickly north and south without much pause.

The intersection of the broad avenue with the narrower byway connecting to the bazaar to the west creates a fleeting bottleneck in the foot traffic. Older wood and stone buildings, mostly small shops and offices with upstairs lodgings overlooking the street, predominate here.

The constant din of the merchants, tradesmen and hawkers in the shops to the west is muted here. The cracked pavement, scattered cobblestones, and dirt drainage ditches along the side of the road form a not-so-gradual transition between the bustling avenues of the main bazaar and the less frequented, humbler, and more unsavory sections of the town. You also see a low stone gate.

Here in the center of a broad plaza near the commercial area of the bazaar stands the impressive facade of the slate-roofed Moot Hall, where the citizens of Wehnimer's Landing hold various official, religious and social functions. Facing the square are some of the town's more prosperous and bustling shops. You also see a large wooden barrel.

[Town Square Central]
This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end of the space, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see the green Belklysus disk, a raven, a wax dagger hilt-glyph, a small sack, a round otter fur cap and some stone benches with some stuff on it.

The gilded but peeling stone facade of the First Elanith Bank dominates this side of the square. You also see an enruned haon trunk, a city official and a basket of rotting fruit.

A weatherworn grey marble statue of a stocky human in pioneer's clothing overlooks the park, his stone hat encrusted by the gifts of decades of passing birds and his right hand half-upraised as if it once held some now-missing object. You find yourself wandering amidst endless streaming light and vast nothingness. This place feels torn between two powers, polar opposites vying for your loyalty. You are surrounded by the spirits of those who could not choose. The only way out seems to be through light or darkness.
Time has no meaning as you wander aimlessly amidst the uncomfortable tugging for your attention. Hopelessness washes over dreams you once held like the creeping tide of doom.
After what could be moments, or perhaps an eternity, the goddess Lorminstra finds you wandering in the endless space and speaks soothingly to you. She gently reassembles the pieces of your tattered soul and then, taking you by the hand, the goddess leads you back to mortality...

[Temple, Altar]
The altar is plain, and bears only onyx bowls of smouldering incense and smoking paraffin. Draped behind it is a cloth banner, appliqued with an ancient mystical pattern. A legend is embroidered along the bottom. On the far side of the room at the end of an aisle, you see two pillars.

[Temple, Chapel]
Two pillars frame a simple chapel. Followers of the land's many religions offer prayers here, each to their own gods. On a pine pew a Zhaolmin monk in tattered robes sits beside a solitary elf softly intoning an ancient chant. In front of the pews, you see an unadorned altar. You also see an ebony door, a curved arch, a black arch and a white marble arch.

The circular building is surrounded by marble porticos and teak columns, and a promenade leads to two pillars, through which the inner sanctum can be glimpsed. Priests, acolytes, monks and worshippers move here and there, engaged in various rituals of devotion or study. A locked almsbox is securely bolted to an iron pole alongside the pillars. You also see a glowing white stone and a wrought-iron gate.

Other traders, hoping to take advantage of the traffic attracted by the nearby temple, have set up stands and pushcarts spilling over with clothing, trinkets and souvenirs gathered during their travels far and wide. You also see the clerics' shop.

On the west side of this narrow stretch of Cheridin Avenue is the wooden back of the Moot Hall, and the dour building that houses the local constabulary and its jail looms along the other side of the street. To the southeast, a stone dome rises over the compound that surrounds the Landing's largest temple. The traffic here flows quickly north and south without much pause.

The intersection of the broad avenue with the narrower byway connecting to the bazaar to the west creates a fleeting bottleneck in the foot traffic. Older wood and stone buildings, mostly small shops and offices with upstairs lodgings overlooking the street, predominate here.

The constant din of the merchants, tradesmen and hawkers in the shops to the west is muted here. The cracked pavement, scattered cobblestones, and dirt drainage ditches along the side of the road form a not-so-gradual transition between the bustling avenues of the main bazaar and the less frequented, humbler, and more unsavory sections of the town. You also see a low stone gate.

[Town Square, East]
Here in the center of a broad plaza near the commercial area of the bazaar stands the impressive facade of the slate-roofed Moot Hall, where the citizens of Wehnimer's Landing hold various official, religious and social functions. Facing the square are some of the town's more prosperous and bustling shops. You also see a large wooden barrel.

[Town Square Central]
This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end of the space, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see the green Belklysus disk, a raven, a wax dagger hilt-glyph, a small sack, a round otter fur cap and some stone benches with some stuff on it.

Here in the midst of the town stretches the cobblestoned main bazaar, its serpentine lanes abuzz with traders bartering, bickering, and hawking their wares. The freewheeling vendors in the bazaar provide a lively alternative to the somewhat stodgier merchants whose shops border the square. The gilded but peeling stone facade of the First Elanith Bank dominates this side of the square. You also see an enruned haon trunk, a city official and a basket of rotting fruit.
