Show THEN long description?

I'm setting some alter ideas up for the Wavedancer, and I have a question. Can I have an alterer change an item by adding a show, and then later on, be it on the Wavedancer or another merchant, have a long description added? Is it only either show or either long desc per item, or either show or either long desc per session?

It requires a special script for an item to have both a show and a long description. So nine out of ten times the answer would be no.

if it has a show, must fit the 15/15/15 rule

thats not to say you wont find someone who will do it anyway, but this is one of the few rules that seems to be very closely followed

I'm guessing my collapsible lance could have both. Lance having a show and cylinder being long descrip or something like that.

Stray is correct. Due to the way the information is stored, it has to be one or the other "long" or a show. The only way to get around it is by using a special script.
