Your Sorcerer: Brawler, Staff user, or Weapon user?

With the recent addition of magical staves, lowering of points for brawling, and changes to weapon and shield cost many sorcerers training paths will need considerable revisements.

Please vote which option your sorcerer(s) will train in, and explain why if so desired. Also requested what amount of training in each skill (Example: 1x Vr .5x shield training)

I've always wanted an open handed sorcerer but it was too expensive to train that way.

I ended up taking the route of blunt/brawling cleric.

Weapon/shield for my lil halfling sorc. As I posted a week back, the DS numbers are still tiny for the singled sorc in edged and shield. I have a load of spare points for some reason (the new skill costs are really good I feel). For a stave user, or the baseline .5x trainer, I dread to think how easily you are going to get whacked in the field.
