Selling a master quality familiar instrument, a silk-stringed painted shamisen. One of very few that exist in the lands that summons a familiar (unlimited times per day) and one of even fewer that is of master quality.
Looking for silvers, cash, and/or trades (combination of anti-thief heads, animated cauldrons, x/day +AS or TD items, cross realm teleporters, or high end STR, CMAN, or THW enhancives). Not in a rush to sell, but I don't play my bard enough so would love to give this a good home for the right price. For comparison, I believe that DR HESS in August had a 2x/day call familiar item for 250k BS. PM me here with your offers or look for Lexbubba in game.

Loresong:
The first thing that strikes you about the shamisen is the weight, which is about 3 pounds.
From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the shamisen is a necked stringed instrument.
The item seems well constructed and resonates in response to your song indicating that it is in tune.
You sense a strong bond between the shamisen and nature. It has the ability to summon a familiar. Your song could reveal more after this verse.
The harmonics of your song probe deep into the shamisen to determine that it is an instrument of master quality, capable of producing magnificent sound.
You sense that the shamisen is of a time long past. The power contained within sings to you of ancient magic and friendship, loyal companionship and steadfast honor. The instrument grows still warmer beneath your hands, and suddenly, you sense a friendly presence in your mind.
Long show:
Stretched taut over the soundboard of the shamisen, the smooth and thin leather is painted with a nighttime dock scene. Cresting waves lap at splintered support posts while silvery mist swirls across the rough wooden boards. Perched with its wings folded, a silver-eyed indigo merlin watches the waters below. Hexagonal pegs hold tight the pearly white silk strings that stretch across an incredibly slender neck, over the painted image, and anchor just below the bridge that holds them aloft.
Summons (unlimited times when called out in loresong):
blue-eyed indigo merlin
