As much as I think Vitruvian is beefy welly for that post on his pics there was no reason for the nazi mods (who think they are holy) to lock his Social Forum thread on said subject.

Stop being Beefy boys thread gestapo. It is just beefy of you.

Although I'm not the mod who locked it. I can say you have no idea what he did or did not do to deserve the lock. The social forum also isn't the right place for this kind of thread. I'll move it for you though.

I'm not the mod who locked the thread, either. However, I will say this:

Imagine what these boards would look like if every person who posted a picture (or pictures) of themselves (friends, family, whatever) had to post an announcement post to let people know they'd posted in the Picture Post thread....:scared:

Pictures, for the most part, belong in the Picture Post thread. Occasionally, there will be a reason to post a picture elsewhere... such as, to get advice from our sartorial experts, or because the picture is directly related to an ongoing discussion.

As I said, I'm not the mod who locked the thread, but that is a reason why that mod might have made the decision to do so.
