Post your ideas on what could be done to make GS the worst game ever.



- Implement movement RT while encumbered
- Allow players to remove this RT via a 30 day Lightfoot Potion in the Simucoin store.


- Require the BREATHE and EXHALE verbs to be used at least 5 times per minute or you take suffocation damage and eventually die. This requirement can be trained down via Air Lore to a minimum of 1 per minute.

- Require regular eating and drinking or else you die.

- Parrying attacks requires you to have a webcam hooked up that can detect parrying motions in real life while you're fighting something in game.

- Make Emeradan the new PM

- Make Andraste head of CE

- Make DRAGONSS head of dev

- f2p/standard/premium/platinum Lich subscriptions

- Savant development Kickstarter... or Indiegogo, whichever one doesn't require any proof a product exists or is being worked on.

- Gemstone Classic. Relive the halcyon days of circa 1997 where 702 from guarded stance was the pinnacle of sorcerer existence, clerics could meditate, and the abomination of EN didn't exist. Separate subscription fee - requires standard, premium, and plat subscription.

- In addition to standard treasure chests, lootboxes will begin dropping from creatures, requiring a Simucoin key to open.

Which one is DRAGONSS, the guy who comes up with suggestions like rogue spell circles and ranged attacks being able to target something two rooms away?

Put node potion in Simucoin store that only works at previous nodes.

- make your mind only keep 200 exp so you have to keep going out to hunt
(i think the mind should hold 3000exp so you can stay in town and rp)

- make alchemy even more tedius, boring and useless. Make more single use potions. make it more difficult to find formulas.

- unlocks/upgrades only happen from merchants that randomly show up. And you only have one shot per year to unlock your nice gear

-make more uber expensive toys for whales. nothing will be under 500 dollars at duskruin

-you can only hunt if you are multi-accounting

-implement knitting

-implement cobbling not new spells or hunting grounds

-change essensce formula again for wizards

-make enchanting/ensorceling so difficult to understand for cassual players that I screw up the order of upgrades and make it impossible to enchant my uber nice bheer

-piss off tilman so he stops lich

-focus on festivals, not core development

-only add two proffesions and and one socieity in 25 years

- get super anal about alterations and enchanting

- hire more GMs with ocd or autism

Implement … Allergies.

Yeah, so if you're a Stealth Build and you don't buy Benadryl potions from the SimuCoin store, what happens is that when you're hiding, or invisible, and don't have a proper d100 roll when you're outside in the wilds in some hunting ground, you might sneeze and be forced out of hiding/invisibility. Belching and farts/sharts might blow your cover too. Alright, get this started stat.

Available on simustore only:

1) Citizen pass to enter X city, otherwise you can't enter.

Pass are bronze (25% sales penalties), silver (0% penalties) gold (25% bonus in trade) and premium (100% bonus trade). Passes are only useful for one day or 5 entries, whichever happens at first.

2) Npc now includes spellers. They join the healers, locksmiths and requires a pass to use

pass are bronze (50% increase in services, we find out locksmith charges as much as value), silvers (0% increase), gold (25% cheaper), premium (totally free). Passes are only useful for one day or 5 entries.

3) Spells NOT from NPC are now only 2 hours. 30 minutes from F2P

4) EVERY mana using monsters can AND will dispell as a death maneuvers,

5) When you do not withdraw silvers to buy ingame stuff ( 10 minutes cooldown) , you get hit with a 10% tax directly applied to your bank account. Pass for that available on simustore for the occasionnal silvers sellers.

The other things would make things worse, sure... these two, just, just.... NO.

(Played a different MUD at one point that did actually require eating/drinking regularly. And, it sucked Koar's Monkey Balls.)

Don't just implement breakage, but implement it with tons of complicated exceptions/provisions. Clearly lay out those exceptions & provisions in a way leads to question upon question, and change things on the fly to not only fix bugs but rebalance things after launch.

Don't listen to anything the players say. In fact, continue to blame them for lack of development. Really drive home that the player base does nothing but bitch, even when largely, wildly unpopular 'releases' get rightfully shit on.

More cash spent for less return in value. When necessary, make different, bi-monthly premium currency that won't expire, it'll just be scarcely used and require bulk in order to get even the low tier shit. Drop rates should reflect a severe lack of quantity in your new currency. When prompted about an items cost, lower it to the initial guesstimate but then cut the amount available to 1/4th the original.

Repeatedly push things that aren't publicly tested. Even though there's a test server specifically for this.

Keep everyone that currently has a 'job' under Wyrom. They're just doing a bang up job of shitting on the game already.

Implement taxes that automatically tax your bank account X%. People with coin hands will be audited annually by Simu. If you end up owing on your taxes, it will be converted to cash at $10 per. Failure to pay will result in your account being suspended until it's paid off.

Wealth tax for anyone with over 250,000 silvers in the bank.

Implement a poor tax for people with under 250k in the bank too, because we want poor characters to live longer. That way if they don't have money to buy things like sugary drinks, then they'll be more healthy.

Spend said tax money on Dragonrealms.

Make it so NPC shops and services are unavailable after certain times. NPCs will also only take Silvers that have been locally farmed. If you bring any silvers from out of certain areas, they won't be usable and they can't be manually separated.

Shittier, make scars permanent until you buy a $59.99 unscarring potion. One sip and needs 12 hours to work on a random scar.

Delete empaths and herbs and make injuries only heal over time. In game time. Go sit at a table afk for 6 months until your hand grows back.

I think 1-3 sec for all movements should become the norm to make travel more realistic. And if you're encumbered it should add 2x-5x multipliers to base RT correlating with encumbrance level. When I become a GM I will lobby hard for this tweak.

If you're in a forest area, you have a 50% chance to trip on a root and break your leg.

i'm pretty sure they are on the idea of as letting out as few announcements as possible already.

Animal companions die every 10 trains or 150k exp cause animals don't live as long as characters.
On that note.. you die.. and have to reroll because you don't get to last forever.

Mana is no longer earned during a pulse without killing creatures.

You need to kill creatures to build up a mana pool.
Every creature you kill gives you (100 + ((your level / creature level) - your level))) x .001
Every pulse allows you to absorb 1 + (EMC bonus / 37) + (500 + HP ranks)

Every pulse you don't have at least 1 mana point stored up in your mana pool, you lose it.

All combat now requires mana to use.
Swing a weapon? You need mana.
Cast a spell? You need mana.
Want to use a CMAN? You need mana.

If you want to be successful in hunting, be sure you kill a lot to build up that mana pool so you can slowly absorb some more to allow you to hunt.

To offset the need for mana to hunt and you can simply by experience from the Simucoin store. Every 5 experience = 1 simucoin
You need 1,514,500 simucoins to reach level 100.

Randomize DFs on all weapon types. So if it was .200 before now its .001 to .200. Add damage type lores that raise the min df by .001 per 2 lores.

Change how enchanting works.

Add a way to build up an essence pool with diminishing returns.
Add a way to limit the rate you can absorb essence from the pool to prevent post-cap wizards from absorbing it faster than a newly capped wizard.
Reduce the time that post-cap wizards could build their weekly essence from 3-4 hours to 9-10 hours.
Add a way that massive amounts of EL:F gives barely any benefit to increasing your absorption rate.
Add a way that punishes hunting wizards by reducing essence absorption by 50% if you're not on a node.
Add a way that EL:W partially offsets the off-node pulse punishment.

Provide a FIXSKILL to allow wizards (especially post-cap wizards) to....do absolutely nothing to improve the speed at which they can absorb their essence pool because they're already maxed on their skills and their weekly essence cap time increased by 3-4x from the previous iteration.



Oh wait. They already did this! A big FU to all the capped/post capped wizards out there! FU all! HAHAHAHAHA!

Working as intended - force wizards that want to enchant to work harder to have a chance to enchant something.
Now listen to people bitch about spending a lot more silvers for wizard enchanting services because of the new nerf to slow things down.

On the back end, re-release enchant certs at DR and watch people flock to buy them.
Also put enchanting raffles behind a paywall at events and watch people flock to buy access.

Then listen to Wyrom say that the changes to enchanting were not done by any means to allow them to earn more money from pay events for enchanting services.
