If you are a bard and you haven't tried a +40 influence kit together with our most powerful setup spell (1005), you haven't lived. 1005 has a hidden d150 roll, and +40 influence gives +20 to that roll. That amount of bonus will frequenty bring you up a full tier on result - making dudes sit down instead of just being dazed, or go into a deep slumber instead of sitting down.
