Happy St. Patrick's Day. I'm drinking regular coffee, sitting at work, and wearing black and white. If I had one drink, I'd fall asleep in it. Tonight I'll play GS and go to bed.

Today is the absolute best day of the year, even though I have to work.

I'm dressed absolutely obnoxiously, I'm carrying a Lucky Charms box as a purse, I have a shamrock on my face, I'm going to watch the Hawkeyes play at 2, and I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon/evening drinking.

What other holiday requires no family time, no presents, and only demands that you drink?

The priest sighs in frustration. "You're a steadfast lad, Tommy
Shaughnessy, and I admire that. But you've sinned, and you must
atone. You cannot attend church mass for three months. Be off with
you now."

Tommy walks back to his pew. His friend Sean slides over and
whispers, "What'd you get?"

"Three month's vacation and five good leads"
