So I log on just now to spell up and get to sleep, and the following happens (and yes, I have had one encounter with Crylone in the past, neither of us had killed one another though):
You hear the subdued thoughts of Crylone echo in your mind:

This corner of the square seems somewhat subdued. Townsfolk pass through on their way to the shops, the bazaar, or the main well at the center of the square. Others hurry past, anxious to get home or go on about their business. You also see a tiny kitten, a wood-sided shop and a cobblestone walkway leading up to a wrought-iron gate.

A small, shaded park fills an old vacant lot behind a row of buildings, the bright lamplight from the square filtering through the passage to the north to illuminate the area with a soft glow. A weatherworn grey marble statue of a stocky human in pioneer's clothing overlooks the park, his stone hat encrusted by the gifts of decades of passing birds and his right hand half-upraised as if it once held some now-missing object. You also see a white cat that is sitting and an iron-bound wooden chest with a single arrow shaft on it.

With great ease, the night watchman grabs you and shackles your wrists.

Arriving at the jail, the night watchman strips you of your possessions, opens a strong ironbound door and throws you bodily to the darkness within the door. "There thou wilt remain until the judge has words with thee!" he chortles gleefully.
With a dull thud and rattle of keys in a lock, the door closes and locks, leaving you trapped within.

Dirty walls surround you, and a metal-banded door blocks your only exit. From somewhere in the darkness you can hear the sound of a creature moving about. You also see a pair of fruit-stained trousers and a fruit-stained tunic.
