Since my luck this year has been pretty well, I'm going to be tossing this item up there mostly to listen to offers and trades for items I feel that would be more beneficial to me or I'd enjoy.
While it would suit my character very much so and his RP, he's actually very low level and wouldn't get use out of this until he's old enough. So rather than hold onto it until then or have the over my dead body attitude, this item will have a chance to leave my hands if I feel something better comes along.

You remove a faded blue linen volume from in your spidersilk cloak.

The once rich blue linen of the cover has faded along the base of the spine and in splayed streaks across the book's front and rear faces, in such a pattern as to denote how the book was most frequently held. Those well-worn areas are nearly white from constant touching, while the rest has faded to a somewhat somber slate blue-grey. At the corners, the fabric has begun to fray, small tendrils of thread that dangle uselessly, while the visible edges of the pages within the cover have become dark with age. The volume is closed.
There appears to be something written on it.

* The cover may have its title updated but must remain written in common.
This blue linen volume is currently Tier 1 of 2 and has access to the verbs: OPEN CLOSE LISTEN READ
(Tier unlock 2 adds the verbs PRAISE PUZZLE DISDAIN and confers a small bonus to READ activation success and margin.)
A very rare set of merchants may offer unlocking services for this item.
This particular volume will consume a charge for any activation attempt that has a chance to succeed.

You can tell that the volume is as light as it can get.
