I was trying to explain this commercial to a co-worker but it just didn't have the same affect.
It's an Airline commercial talking about flights to Boston, and the whole commercial is comprised of people trying to talk in a Boston accent.
The kicker is a family of 3 asian people who are listening to a tape recording of a guy with a boston accent and then they repeat the phrase. Something like "That was wicked haaahhd".
Anyone seen teh commercial/know the airline? I'm trying to find a copy of the commercial online.

The commercial is fucking terrible under the circumstances you described.
The one with Curt Schilling is awesome. I don't remember the airline.

Curt Schilling thanks.
Oh and I just remembered, the World Series trophy is going to be at my school tomorrow. Thank God my fingerprints are already on it.
I've only heard one accent that somewhat rivaled that of a Bostonite. New Jersey. Having family in both places allowed me to compare the two and come to the conclusion that they are both equally strong and unnatural accents.

Unnatural? More like awesome. I make it even stronger when I'm thinking about it. How often do you hear someone say retahded? It rocks.

They aired that like a year ago in the Philly region.
I'm assuming they're just now offering the flight from where ever you live.

I love Boston accents. My husband is from Boston, but he went to college in Pennsylvania and lost his accent there. That's the only thing I'd think of changing about him, losing the bland plain-ness of Western Pa. and going Boston, baby.
I been robbed!!!!

I could go to Russia and still not lose my Boston accent. He obviously wasn't a true Bostonian.

Neither is your new bostonian hero Curt Schilling.

I didn't say he was. He was in that commercial where he was "listening to a tape recording of a guy with a boston accent and then [he repeats] the phrase."

Speaking of Boston - anyone else watching the Amazing Race?
Boston Rob from Survivor is on with his fiancee (the chick who won).
He brought shady-ness to this new game and is hilarious to watch.
He asked a cab driver in Peru how much the team in front of him was paying for the driver to wait for them. Rob basically doubled the price and stole their cab.

Only people from Belleville or south Jersey have that horrible accent. Leave the rest of us out of it. Thnx.

The eerie thing is how similar Boston and South African accents are. My Great Aunt Mary was from Boston and sounded almost exactly like Lauren Bacall. My parents are both modern dance professors, so they invited in this very effeminate male South African ballet instructor to teach some ballet courses for them, and he calls them up on occassion.
Needless to say, I was always mistaking Great Aunt Mary for Petrus on the phone. It got really embarassing after Great Aunt Mary (regrettably, she was a very neat lady) passed on.
