What's the best?
For me it's a bit tough, i'll go with elimination
Basketball is the most boring game, i can't "dunk" (sp) even if i'm 6'1, and i don't like the defensive system of the game
BaseBall rocks
Hockey rocks
Golf sux, i don't even understand why it's called a sport
F-1 and car sports sux, i don'T even understand why it's called a sport
Tennis is good, when you play it, very physical sport
Football rocks, but it's always stopped, 5 seconds of play, 20 seconds of getting back to game, etc
soccer sux, playfield is too big, too many players, too long
Rugby is too dangerous for me, i played it twice and i bleed each time badly
water sports, there's no beach here, so i haven't played any
So i'd chose baseball, i think:bouncy:
skydoo=seadoo... too much influence of snow here.. hehe

What a waste of reading. You don't have bowling, horseshoes, or billiards on your list.

Right now baseball is by far the best sport but in a couple of months ill say football is. I think baseball is best because the season has the most games. I really am into the AL central race this year and am going crazy rooting for my twins.

Baseball's awful. I can't believe they still call that joke the national past time.
On watching sports, I prefer K-1 Fighting (Good call, longshot), NFL, and hockey, in that order.
Playing any sport can be fun. It just depends on the friends and alcohol factor.

Baseball is fun to watch if you're actually at the stadium but a huge snooze on TV. Same with basketball.
Actually, I'll go see almost anything in person but prefer not to watch on TV unless it's a really important game. Sorry Bob, billiards and bowling are not sports, no matter how many 2am ESPN slots are filled with them. They also started showing that lame-ass "Playmakers" show on ESPN. The first time I watched it, it was like Lifetime for guys. Vomit.
Horseshoes? Don't make me laugh.
I define a sport as a competition with SUBSTANTIAL physical exertion that uses a pre-set system to objectively determine the winner or loser. "Sports" that use judging or rating systems (like boxing and figure skating) don't qualify.

Baseball is our nations greatest sport. It stands for culture and tradition as Americans.
Jame Earl Jone's character in Field of dreams basically states in a sum up "People come people go. Business start and the end. Ideas happen and yet fade. But in American tradition the only consistent thing that has always been is baseball."
I feel the same way. From playing catch with your dad to watching a game on tv. Or falling in love with Derek Jeter cause he is the sexist baseball player if you a female. Or a nation uniting in watching the McGuire-Sosa chase in 98. How about watching the Bonds chase of Hank Aaron. Or watching maybe Pujos get a triple crown which has been done in almost 50 years. I love watching the excitement of Johnson and Schillin disect hitters. Or Prior and Wood strike out 15 in a game and maybe see a historic no-hitter or perfect game! How can anyone say baseball is boring!?!?!
Sure football, hockey, basketball, ect have their own excitements. But look at baseball as everyone no matter what get 9 chances and defense and 9 chances at offense. 27 outs. Baseball is the most perfect game yet so imperfect. The best hitters in the league hit 1 out of every 3 times at bat. What can be more exciting than watching a 3-2 count on Sosa batting against Matt Morris who has really established his young career. And sammy fouling off 4 picthes in a row. Everyone holds their breathes.
I love baseball.

Since when is boxing not a sport? I've never actually done it, but I do have the build of a boxer. I also have a healthy respect for boxing.

Hockey.
It's like wrestling, but not faked. Hot guys beating each other up.. hell, even ugly guys beating each other up with sharp objects strapped to their feet?
Oh baby.
I honestly hope MLB players go on strike again and kill the league. I find nothing less appealing than Major League Baseball.

Soccer is far worse than any other sport/game/activity.

Bob,
I disagree with the way some boxing matches are decided. Take the current controversy over the De La Hoya/Mosley fight, it's a perfect example. Anything without a totally objective way of determining the winner or loser is not a sport, in my opinion. This means figure skating, too - look at all the crap that went over because of the judging in that.

You realize if you said that in any other country in the world you could be killed.
There was someone who worked two towns over last year who got a one year teaching contract so he could be in Japan for the world cup.
They took a one year job in a country they knew nothing about and did not even like so that they would not have to pay for a plane ticket.
Soccer does not suck.
Is it the best? No...

What sucks is that the Women's Soccer League in the US is going under.
