Basically I need help figuring out what stats I'm going to be stuck with for a few of my characters. With work as it is I haven't had time to really give it much thought ( waiting on someone for a meeting right now they are late) so I need some help.
I'm looking for stat placements for Anticor (giantman wizard) currently 61, a human rogue currently 87, and for shits a dwarf warrior/paladin 54.
I'm looking to cap the first two for sure. The dwarf if you've got time. I'd like, if at all possible, to see starting stat placement as well as justification as to why you placed them where you did.
Thanks in andvance for any help, and I'll be sure to show what I finally go with.

Can't you just use Tsoran's spreadsheet to figure it out? You are a computer nerd.. I thought that would be right up your alley.

I'm not sure what Kranar could do that's any better. The best I can do is write a program that does pretty much the same thing.

That Stat Cruncher does it all.
Wish I had known about it sooner.
Get in Tsoran's spreadsheet and set your points for TPs, stat growth is for sissys.
I maxed all my stats on all my chars for TP's as well. Some of the redo's yielded alot (rogue/wizard) whereas other redo's did not yield as much (empath/sorc/bard) which told me I was close to the right path with regards to TP maximization vs. targeting as many stats to max at cap.
And yes it sucks that they are taking the stat reallocations away. Why cant they just leave it alone and focus the energy on something else that has been neglected???

I should have been more clear. What I was really looking for was why you would max certain stats at the expense of others. I apologize for mudding up my intent.

Because people think it's the hottest thing since sliced bread for whatever reason.
I'm not a fan of stat optimization at all. If I only have two stats maxed at cap, so be it.

I suppose the long term goal of stat optimization is that once you reach the cap, you still gain training points, but you don't gain any stats. So having a lot of training points really doesn't give you much of an advantage while not being able to increase your stats puts you at a disadvantage.
Furthermore, high stats still give high training points, but high trainings points don't neccessarily give you high stats.

I sort of went for a combo of the two strategies. I figured out my minimum starting stats to max the stats which mattered to me, then I tweaked the remaining leftover points to gain max TPs while still maxxing the stats I wanted.
Stats and stat bonuses sometimes play huge rolls in determining success in hidden rolls. Krakii's research into charisma and lullabye success at early ages is a great example, warcries are another.
As stated the age of the character certainly matters or more importantly how old you think they WILL be. I have characters who will never hit 100, in these cases TPs are probably more important for anything other than a few select stats. For older characters who do plan on reaching the cap and filling out their training, maxing stats is probably a better overall plan.

All my stats are maxed at 100 except for Inf.

You're better off using Tsoran's spreadsheet than the stat calculators. The stat growth calculators work fine, but the training point calculators will cheat you out of a lot of points, especially if your character is relatively highly skilled.
Earlier today, I revisited the TP calculator(s) and was quite surprised when I readjusted a 53 level empath and a 50 level warrior/paladin. I lost over 100 training points on what the warrior previously had and ended up downloading Tsoran's spreadsheet to curtail the damage. This was after running thousands and thousands of iterations and tweaking minimum stats on the calculator. At any rate, just tweak the spreadsheet's stat slots over and over until you get what you're looking for in regard to training points.
I'm all for the hybrid of TPs and stats also. However, I'll still attempt to get nearly all 100's for my older characters. I just redid my level 97 wizard and still had growth in mind as you can see. I'll likely do the same for my older rogue, warrior, and another empath, but I think I already have their stats maximized for TPs, while at the same time not neglecting important stats like ST, AG etc. for each class.
If there are any halfelf wizards that have been able to maximize all but one stat, I'd sure like to know what the combination is. That task, for this race and profession, seems impossible.

IMO you can never train in anything for encumbrance, exp absorption, etc. Compromise by draining points away from prime stats until your core training plan starts to get affected.
P.S. remind me to roll up a savant and own virtually everybody in the game that has a tanked Influence stat

What I've come up with thus far:
STAT: LVL 0 LVL 100
STR 85 100
CON 54 84
DEX 68 100
AGL 85 100
DIS 73 100
AUR 55 100
LOG 62 100
INT 59 100
WIS 73 100
INF 46 84
What that does is change me from:
lvl 61 currently
Strength (STR): 96 (38)
Constitution (CON): 90 (30)
Dexterity (DEX): 87 (13)
Agility (AGI): 81 (10)
Discipline (DIS): 84 (17)
Aura (AUR): 100 (20)
Logic (LOG): 85 (12)
Intuition (INT): 75 (12)
Wisdom (WIS): 84 (17)
Influence (INF): 77 (18)
lvl 61 with proposed new stats:
STR 96 (38)
CON 74 (22)
DEX 89 (14)
AGI 94 (17)
DIS 90 (20)
AUR 88 (14)
LOG 87 (13)
INT 87 (18)
WIS 90 (20)
INF 71 (15)
Only thing I don’t like is the Aura being 88 giving me 9 spirit points but I can suffer for a few lvls (til lvl 78) to get 10 spirit if it means my stats coming out like this. I really don’t think I can place them better for a giantman wizard. Human wizard sure, but I think this is good to go for a giantman.
Old stat placement yielded: 4,896 PTP 5,101 MTP or a total of 9,997
New(proposed) stat placement yields: 4,827 PTP, 5131 MTP or a total of 9,958
So I’d lose 39 total TP’s but I’d have better bonuses and 39 TP’s isn’t huge in the scheme of things I don’t think.
Thoughts?
* These numbers are from Tsoran's spreadsheet so they should be pretty good to go.

Stats look good to me.
There will always be worse/better but if it looks the way you want and you can train the way you want..
Its a Keeper..
I chose stats over TP's as I can get more TP's, you cannot get more stats.

TP's aren't a huge issue with my training plan as currently I'm training where I don't really have any points converted at the end of a lvl. And I'm no longer needing to save up and train in armor/climb/swim which will free up points per lvl.
