It's more popular than one might think. Though it is not usually Americans that get mail order brides from Russia, but rather Russian immigrants that can't find someone.

Yeah. My grandfather's winemaker is Bulgarian. He's had a really hard time finding someone to connect with. I suggested it but he got ticked.

Hah! This shady fellow I knew back when I was living in Arizona(he was one of those spam e-mail guys but he made like 40K a month doing it... which is crazy) ANYWAY... He was pretty fucking suave and got a lot of attention from girls for looks/money/personality BUT anyway... He brought this russian 'bride' over and kept her for three months then sent her back!


She was a TOTAL knockout but we all knew he wasn't going to marry the girl.
