Are the collectible items Analyzing with "This item cannot be used as altar fodder" ? I turned the one I found in before thinking about it. Might make a nice bit of alter fodder instead of using it for a free 1 use reim orb.

I was able to successfully get a GALD merchant to use the ethereal orb as alter fodder for Scarswyrth's 'dark twisted faewood runestaff capped with a glowing ethereal orb' - 4x/4x acuity orb staff.
