Wendy's sucks. Burger King over McDonalds both for burgers and breakfast. The only reason I'd vote BK Lounge over Taco Small is because of the breakfast. Otherwise, I love cheese.

BK Lounge is tops in that list.

For a little while they had deep fried tacos, 2 for a buck. But they stopped them. WHY????

I should mention that the city I live in is not only the home of White Castle but the home of Wendy's as well.

White castle fucking sucks. Its like th eonly major food place open after 11pm in chicago. So its always packed like amofo. Jack in the box is just a burger place, but it uses fresh beef and stuff like that, and its open 24 hours which is the shit.

Long John Silver's is a greasy feast, but it's kind of expensive.

Wendy's is awesome because you can get enough food to feed an army for like four bucks.

Hardee's/Carl's Junior used to be pretty low on my list until recently. They got rid of their old burgers and started making them with a better beef. They're pretty good now.

Taco Bell's chicken fiesta burritos are awesome.

McDonald's is disgusting, and every single restaurant should be burned.

Burger King isn't bad. They're running a special around here where you can get a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink for something around $2.79, so that's A-OK.

I love their burgers (since they're square so it's easy to pick off the corners to give to my cat), actually juicy and the lettuce/tomato are actually fresher than the limp things found in BK and Mickey D's burgers. Let's not forget their salads. The mandarin chicken salad is awesome.

Taco Bell is a close second for the nachos. Yummy.

Heh, the kangaroo meat thing is just an urban legend, but is scared me as a little girl 'cause I liked kangaroos. The REAL meat scandal with Jack in the Box was the E.coli found in their meat that killed children and elderly, I believe.

Ok, here's a bit of fast food info that might interest someone.

In the area where I live, we have a lot of livestock, and horses. So naturally there are a lot of livestock and horse sales (auctions).

Most horse sales have a portion of crippled and lame horses, which are bought by those who wish to have them butchered for whatever reason, dog food companies, etc. These lame and crippled horses sell at a lower price that's called a butcher price.

I've sat through a few horse sales, and while I was doing that, I have observed buyers from McDonalds buying from the butcher priced lots.

People have told me that it's possible that McDonalds being the mass chain that it is, probably dabbles in other kinds of businesses besides fast food. So this could be an acceptable explanation.

But being the trusting person I am, I won't eat at McDonalds. I'm too afraid of what they might have in their burgers.

They advertise at as 100% beef. So if they are using horse meat, someone should get a nice fine when they get caught.

I'm not much of a meat eater to begin with. I'm not a vegetarian, but I just don't eat a lot of meat. Most of it grosses me out.

I can't eat Deer, Rabit, Squirrel, or any of that other wild stuff, just because of what it is. It might not taste bad, but chewing and swallowing it becomes difficult when I think about the furry little animal it used to be.

Pork is just nasty. Have you ever seen how a pig lives before it's butchered? I'm not eating ANYTHING that came off of that.

And I have issues with chicken, because my parents used to butcher chickens when I was growing up. Being chased by headless chickens in early childhood did something so bad to me, that I break out in a sweat if I see a KFC.

I don't see how someone can eat bovine meat and not eat venison.

A cow, compared to a deer, is a filthy animal, and the conditions in which most beef cattle are raised are simply disgusting.

A deer is a wild animal which has survived on it's own long enough to ensure it being in well health.

Maybe it's just a Southern thing, but I'd rather have deer meat on the table any day, and that's not even bringing the moral values into the argument.

Jack in the box has had some salmonella issues in the past, but I've heard its good. My favorite is Arby's, but since they aren't on the east coast I never get in there. Wendy's is probably where I go most. BK fries are nasty. BK fries are the equivalent of fries from Mcdonald's when you go at like 3 AM and they are wet and uncooked.

Mcdonalds french fries are the best of the big three, but their food after breakfast stinks. I agree with CT that those damned mcgriddles have sucked me in. I have one almost once a week now. Yes, the arteries are closing as I type.

Popyes: chicken is good, beans and rice pretty darned good for a fast food place if not anywhere near a real restaraunt but their best thing is possibly the best fries I have found in a large fast food chain. Mmmmmm Cajun Fries..........::insert drool here::....

BK has decent burgers, but Wendys are better as someone said already the toppings are always fresher than McDonalds or BK.

Boston Market is a nice change up, but can get old quickly.

I remember back in college I knew some of the football linemen and they liked to see who could eat the most white castle burgers. My friend ate like 35 or something, some huge amount of them. Of course, he paid the horrible price that the white castle gods demand soonafter.

Thats got to be about the only fast food that you can actually lose weight by eating. :lol:

Beef liver can actually be very tasty if you cook it right, however 99% of the population doesn't have the faintest idea because they give up on it.

Oh yea besides jack in the box Popeyes is the shiznit. Theres a popeyes on post, and i go there so much i swear they have my order ready when i walk in the door.

For Local chains D'Angelo's Subs would get my vote. An hour of physical training in the morning then usually left weights for 1-2 more at night. Unless i'm working then i'll try and do at least 100 super set pushups. But if i stopped working out i'd just get real skinny, cause i have a very high metabolism.

We've got Jimmy John's and Quizno's subs to. Beats the hell out of Sub Way any day.

You being from Chi town, surely you have eaten at Pepe's. I remember visiting the grandparents in EastCentral IL and going to Pepe's. I hadn't seen one in 20 years until I was driving through Chicago and just had to stop. I'll never do it again.

Yea, Pepes is pretty good. Why you don't like it? I guess it depends on which one you eat at.

Maybe it depends on location. I want to say I went past one on South Grand or Western Ave while making my way to Pepsi on 51st.

The day before I had been at ABC Northlake and they had a severe contamination problem with 2 liter RC.

When I sat down and placed my order, I noticed them pouring the pop (RC) from 2 liter bottles. Maybe is it was subconscious.

It was great as a kid though!

We have a Chick-fila, which I eat at almost every day.

A Sbarro's. It's pretty good pizza, but it's expensive.

A Mean Gene's Burgers. Yeah, the wrestling guy. I think they borrow a lot from Burger King.

There's a place called Au Bon Pain too, but I think it's more of a salad/sandwich shop. I've never been in there.
