Well, I am bummed...

I sold the empath, and damn did that empath rock at hunting, straight kicked ass!

This may well bump prices, and it may not, but my happy buyer got the empath for $400.00. I am also happy, as the person that got said empath is a good rp'er, and is an asset to GS.

Anyone who has doubt as to the potentcy of Empaths as hunters is more than welcome to accompany me in OTF for a demonstration.

We'll hunt until either another in the group dies or the 400 mana I have runs out. Respelling if dispelled and healing can all be done on the fly so no excuses there.

No doubt, the 47 I HAD was meaner then shit. Wasn't even in COL and had no problems frying.

Whoever paid $400 for any profession at lvl 47 is a retard.

For that particular char, 1) I wouldn't of sold for less, and 2) I would of paid the same (knowing what I know about that char).

All the more reason why its a good investment to a)not be an asshammer (an anticor-ism); b)not be a known scripter or have a record of warnings that could deplete the asking price...

Although 400 is a little high for an empath in the 40's for my preferences, if the utility value was high enough for the buyer then he's added to his investment while in the game and eventually if/when he leaves and sells he'll add more upon the sale providing he follows the rules above and takes the time to market and find the right buyer.

Just because we think a value is too high for a particular market basket of goods doesnt mean that a different person with a different price threshold and a higher disposable income will think that same way. This is one of the favorite topics/discussions that can be found on the landing amunet frequently when discussing prices of items being sold therein.

Yup...

That pretty much sums it up.
