View Full Version : Training holiday + AT = FUCKING w00t!!
I had to take the week off from my normal job to do AT for the Reserve this week. It's all fine and dandy except that it's an hour drive each way. Needless to say, driving gets really fucking old as does waking up much earlier than usual for less pay.
Regardless, today I find out that Friday is a training Holiday, meaning I come in for four days and get payed for five. I'd like to say.. FUCKING AWESOME!! I get a FOUR DAY WEEKEND!

Dude I drive an hour each way every day for work. It's not that bad. I'd also ask if I could come in the fifth day and do some O course runs if I got a corpsman with me. But then again I was all about the O course and PT in general. SLACKER
Hey! I'm all about the PT. So much in fact that I am skipping out an hour early to do some PT at our built in gym. Damn, I love working in a Headquarters!

It's not bad because I have some great music and I don't mind an hour alone. That and I love driving so it all works in my favor.

When i lived down in Riverside I had to drive bloody 90 miles a day to and from 29 Palms, and doing PT every morning when its freezing cold in the middle of the desert is only slightly better than doing it during the day.
The drive was one of my favourite parts of the day.

29 Palms was awesome. Loved running there did my only marathon in the desert.

1 hour and 10 minutes until my day is over. Then I do some PT and play WoW on a terribly freezing and rainy day. BOOYA!
