I'm specifically talking about a guest on MSNBC saying Trump is guilty of treason and then saying the only punishment for treason is execution. That is flat out saying Trump should be executed. He then walked this back SLIGHTLY by saying maybe Trump can beg for a plea bargain of just being impeached instead. I can't agree with this. Yes some kids fight in school, but it can't be tolerated. I grew up in the 60s and 70s - bullying was largely ignored mostly because the teachers and administrators didn't want to deal with it. What happened is that two or three kids got targeted and bullied constantly. When confronted with the situation, the administrators had a habit of just saying "boys will be boys".

Assault is assault - kids don't get an exemption. I'm not saying a kid should be punished because he pushed another kid, but punching/kicking/slamming into a wall/etc needs to be dealt with harshly.

However self defense should not be punished. I don't understand liberals at all who punish kids for defending themselves.
