Stupid Newbie Question, Numero Uno

I was curious as to what the HP, MP, and EXP bars are. Like.. what to they represent, how do you get more.. so on, so forth.

And more importantly, if I drop to 0 HP, can I have a cleric rezz my post name to give them EXP?

They are related to your level and post count. They basically show you how close you are to your next level.

In short: meaningless, utterly.

I know there's a way to make an incinerator victim reference here, but I just can't get it. :(
