I report all afk scripters I stumble upon but don't go hunting for them. Seeing this, I'm tempted to go hunt rats and ignore him on purpose so that he reports me and I can immediately report saying I chose to ignore him so he'd look stupid reporting non-afk scripters.

Ha! I did this with my empath. A guy whispers to see if im there and i dont respond. He then started casting airwall on me so i ask what he thinks he is doing. He tells me i was afk and i tell him i wasnt. He whispers to me that he reported me anyway and keeps casting airwall on me so i reported him for casting at me with no cause. I go rest and wait for the airwall to fall and come back and Elbrion is talking to him :) We then in whispers chat about the scripting and i admit to him i was scripting,but i was not afk and he says that that is illegal and i say no it isnt. I took the idea from you. Well I don't remember who it was but I read it in another thread and I thought it was a great idea to use against those hunting scripters. Also I was just reminded of the mychar verb. What you can do is if he checks to see if you are afk, you immediately use the mychar thinks command and think stuff for the GMs to hear. They will know you are not afk and the idiot won't.

The GM became the rat and said you were right? I just love that. Just like the story I was reading somewhere on April Fools where the GM took over the doorman at Hearthstone -- I love stories like that, shows that they can and do interact.

I have never seen a GM do this with a critter or NPC, and I've been in the lands going on 2 yrs.... I must not be doing the right things :)

Actually, I've known people who do just that. Not only in the cats, but also the ones scripting messages. And they werent GM's. Scripters annoy me too, but I wouldnt hunt em down. Not that I didnt report a few of them to the 'Scripter Hunter' in Plat....cause I did. heh

I barely get ambitious enough to hunt critters, much less chase scripters, but if that's what someone enjoys, so be it.
