Dan Rather-not's farewell newscast is this evening.

Buh Bye.

Now maybe CBS can put in an anchor that can have better rating than 3rd out of 3.

They'll wuss out and get a boring anchor and not improve.

Shit, I about had a heart attack.

Don't do that to me!

I have to admit that I thought about you today PB when they were talking about Dan. heh, wonder who is going to replace him.

Jon Stewart is not a news-man, and would make a terrible news anchor. Quote from last night: "We don't check facts." If CBS felt like running the Daily Show, that would be entirely acceptable and do it now, stupid eye-people.

Hey, quit scarin' my wife, Mike! I actually read this topic for some reason...

I think the time for "news anchors" may be over.

Jon Stewart is the hottest thing in town. He would bring a ton of revenue to any network that signed him.

I think they should get Dennis Leary to just cuss out a bunch of people.

I love Dennis Leary.

Jon Stewart really isn't that funny.

He's a lot funnier when he's not just taking cheap jabs at Bush. To be fair, he went after Kerry some before the election. I don't know about how the show is now, because I haven't seen it since like October.

I like both of them. Stewart more so because I catch more of his shows but their both funny to me.

I don't know about how the show is now, because I haven't seen it since like October. I've only seen one truly cheap jab at Bush since then. Compare that to the Bob Wiltfong segment at the DNC Chairman elections... He walks towards the camera and says some blurb about how people are basically campaigning for the Chairmanship, and there are a series of tables to his right along a wall with people at them. He turns to Al Sharpton and says, "Sorry, I don't have any change." It's hard to explain, but it was hilarious.

Great comic, PB.

On the topic of journalism in general, the Associated Press, along with other groups and news organizations are calling for more openess with the White House this week. Oddly, its not at the top of the headlines.

Please, we all know that the AP has a huge liberal bias.

I find it amusing that you think that's a top headliner.
