Looking for a decent photo/grahics editor

Hi all,

I am looking for a program that will edit Photos but also edit web graphics.

I have used paintshop pro but is there something different or better others are using?

I have been doing web design and mapping which is what it would be used mostly for.

For Web Design you might want to check out ImageReady too. It lets you slice up web pages and generates HTML code or something too. Comes bundled with Photoshop.

I was sent a download but :( my puter is so damn old and slow it says 24 hrs til download complete... its gonna timeout before then.

Make your school give you a copy or something. Educational use Photoshop is mad cheap...or pirateable.

Yeah I can use what I have at school... was just hoping to work on a project now.

I'll see what I can get tomorrow... I know I have something on my laptop as well.. I will get that out and see what is has.
