Mind you, France has like 110 divisions total at this point, 100 of which are on the German border or in Belgium. Then 30 divisions show up from Italy a week later in a whole other part of the country. Of course they surrendered.

Hindsight is 20/20, but gimme a break. Germany won a lot of territory from a lot of countries. France just looked bad because we hadn't had the opportunity to study and the new German tactics until countries like France fell. Not to mention, the war got a whole lot more winnable when Germany got all eastern fronty and sent 3/4's of their resources into a Russian meat grinder.
