Just a quick question since it was not answered in one of the various other threads regarding the stat reallocation. When we redo our stats, if it causes a change in TP's at our current level, which in turn might reduce our skill ranks, will a migration be involved or will it just insta fix itself? Anyone know?

I lost two spell ranks when I change stats and it was instant

Yayayayay! I'm not sure if I will lose TP's or not but I have my stats figured out and would like to just get it over with. However, I'm also planning to use my fixskills when I make a change to my shield and don't want to have to sit in migration for a while to fix stat/tp discrepancies before I can use my fixskills.

Stat reallocation is monstrously buggy in that regard, which is the main reason they're getting rid of it.

I fooled with it once just out of curiosity, and it dropped a rank or two of something instantly and gave back the TPs for it, but even though it said the points were free, if I put them into something else, the new skill said it would gain the rank ASAP... and kept saying that until I raised a level and then it evened out.

Guess my recommendation would be to be careful with it because it doesn't work right.

Oh, another thing, try not to have any skills migrating before you reallocate your stats. I've heard that causes a whole lot of shit to happen.

Nah I don't have anything migrating. I hate to migrate, it bites my ass so hard and it's not even sheckshie when it happens. :(

Well, I guess I'll wait a bit more before I do this so I can find out for sure. It would sure suck to be in migration.

Oh and another quick question..I'm working on my wizardess's stats as well and just how important is influence to a wizard? I mean I know it affects things like prices, haggling etc. but other then that is it really that needed?

Also, do note that the migration system was a bug that some folks were abusing and even got lockouts for...

Just a heads up...

Jolena, I let both my wizards INF stay low..., it raises fairly quickly, and it does not effect my enchanting or hunting in my experience.

>>Oh, another thing, try not to have any skills migrating before you reallocate your stats. I've heard that causes a whole lot of shit to happen.

I just redid my stats with over 1000 TPs migrating and it went fine. The only thing it did however, is it stopped any migration you had at the rank you were closest to, so you just have to restart your migration.
