View Full Version : REVISED: WaveDancer Oceanview Double Room Ticket

A WaveDancer ticket purchased on a premium account for the second cruise recently fell into my lap. I already have a first class ticket for the exact same cruise on a different account and I would prefer someone else have an opportunity to use it. I started to bid out the ticket for the price paid and the $5 transfer fee, but the Wife says to get rid of it. Yes, I contacted Simu Events and the tickets are transferable with what appears to be little hassle. In order to facilitate a sale, I am going to put it out as a bid and bidding can be in both $$, via paypal, or silvers (at a rate of $13 per million) deliverable in The Landings.

If you are interested, please email me at: xrobidartx@yahoo I will keep the auction open until 6:00 pm pacific/9:00 pm eastern, Saturday, March 12, 2005 and will provide updates here, if required. The bid will start at about half the cost for a double room or $60/7,800.000 silvers. Please, only whole dollar and 100,000 silver bid increments.

Thank you in advance for your patronage...Pops

Ok. More info is needed before I can place that bid. What class is this ticket? Is it a double occupancy ticket, or a single double occupancy ticket?

It is an Ocean View - Double Occupany which runs for $121 Premium and $134 Basic. The are two "higher" categories..First CLass and Stateroom.

I have several bids for $60 and the first to arrive was from Fallen.

Is it a double double or a single double? Meaning do I get to pick who I go with or no?

there is no such thing as a single double. Double occupancy means you the ticket holder picks whom you are taking. It's a good deal to be honest. You get two tickets (one for you and a guest) for half the price that normal customers pay.

Well, I am glad I bid on it then.

Yeah 2nd class is not a bad one to get either. its described on the website as lower end dhu type services. If you attended the Dhu you know that means that you will still get quite a bit of merchant work done in most cases.

Ack, this is second class... Someone outbid me.

Evarin = First class

well technically it's not second class anymore, its "ocean view" :lol2: So sure, Evarin can play it off!

Finiswolf, apologies...didn't know what was a GOA, so didn't understand that it was a question directed at me....Sure, GOA works.

Rec'd a few more bids....the highest was $64 and that is new high.

Thanks....Pops:cool:

8 days left, I will wait until my significant other gets back from Kansas to make sure I don't end up casterated, but I damn sure want it! (Especially after sneaking a stateroom ticket...)

The new high bid is $74 from Fallen.

Also, I was asked if there was a buy-out price. I had not posted one, but if anyone is interested, it is the price of the double occupancy ticket of $121.

Only a few days left on this item..bidding closes Sat, 3/12 @ 6:00 Pacific/9:00 Eastern. Again, please note that I will accept PayPal and GOAs.

Only two days left on the "Ocean View DOUBLE (you and the guest of your choice) Occupancy" ticket for the second (and, at this time, also the last scheduled) cruise...this class of ticket is no longer available. Current high bid is $74 (Fallen). That is well below the purchase price of $121 (for those math challenged, instead of $60.50/person, at the current high bid, it is down to $37.00/person). Yes, this is not the best of the accomodations/services, but you will have access to many merchants and items not normally available. In addition to your guest and you getting on your shopping groove, you can stock up and become a Net Merchie. I attended Ebongate and I am amazed at the prices some of the EG items are now commanding. PayPal and Gifts of Adventure accepted.

Thanks, Pops

I just want to state that the deal went through with no hitches, and that the receiving party is happy with the transaction.
