Why don't you inform us of what you believe the value to be rather than laugh at the offers you're getting? If you want 25m, you'll probably be waiting years just like Sergey has, to sell it.

How about you just rip his nutz off Spir??

Makkah

He can try to rip my nuts off. Unfortunately, they're attached via a conglomeration of muscle, skin, and seminal vessels.

I'm looking for more than 10m. And less than 30m. There you go. If you had read the initial post, you would have seen I'm just seeing what the market is like, not predominantly looking to sell at this point. Thanks for responding though.

Nobody gives a fuck about a 1 setting ring unless it has a nice script to it, which I'm pretty sure yours doesn't.

If you're just seeing how the market looks, I'd say 10-15m, 20m tops, and even that is stretching it in my opinion since it only has 1 setting.

<<If you're just seeing how the market looks, I'd say 10-15m, 20m tops, and even that is stretching it in my opinion since it only has 1 setting. >>

I think I'll take the advice from people I actually know. Which is 20-30m. It's cool though. It'll be a 20m+ profit no matter what.

Good luck selling it. Let us know in 3 years when someone buys it that doesn't know any better.

And you know me.

By people who know, do you mean people who have seen it for sale on gsauctions for the past year with zero bids?

It may be "worth" 25mil, but with the departure of Warclaidhm, I'm not sure there's anyone stupid enough left in the game to spend 25mil on it.

It's a cool thing to own, probably in your best interest just to hang onto it.

Sylph

He can probably get good value in trade for it... because it IS a useful item.

Syberus

25 million = 5000 gold rings, I'd rather just get naved every couple days myself.

Me too.

I dunno about you guys... but if im heading back from somewhere after a really long hunt with a few people or something and im carrying 10K+ coins and that gets nav'd...

It sucks. It doesn't REALLY hurt but it is a pain in the butt.

Syberus

So you'll spend 25 mill to save 10k? Oh.. ok what was I thinking

Makkah

<<So you'll spend 25 mill to save 10k? Oh.. ok what was I thinking >>

Because everyone only gets navved once in their life? Oh... ok, what were you thinking

Artha

If you've got the extra money to throw around, why not spend some money to take out one of GS's little inconveniences? It's not like you can't make it back in a day or two of cash hunting anyway.

Syberus
03-02-2005, 10:26 PM
Because you're ever going to get navved enough times to make up for 25 million in lost coins

03-02-2005, 10:27 PM
The ring is more of a "OH SHIT LOOK AT THE SIZE OF MY COCK IT CANT GET NAVVED" fun item that will never pay for itself. Then again that goes with all other high end GS items.

25m in 2 days?

Hulkein
03-02-2005, 11:01 PM
Actually, I take that back.

If I was the capped or close to it like Maliku, I'd probably pay for it.

Especially if my account had 100+ million in it.

From that point of view... buying crit padded/damage padded armor of any kind is a waste because the amount it costs to attain deeds is never REALLY going to equal that 35million set of masterful damage padded plate... or whatever....

Does good price mean the 33mil or so it was at for 6 months or the reduced price of 25mil?

But, people you know, put it as high as 30mil, why'd you sell it so cheap?

I just kinda wanted to get rid of it. I made out fairly decently, but I'm always real paranoid about holding items like that... just in case they tweaked something and made the item worthless. Stupid, I know. But I'd honestly rather sell it 5m cheap and have the liquid sitting there earning non-existant interest.

I wouldn't say that's stupid, considering that it's Simu you're dealing with.

Good idea, considering it would probably take Warclaidhm getting unbanned to get the 25mil. Anyone else miss selling things to Warclaidhm?
